HBA1C is 6.3 but Urinary glucose is high
Hi. I am taking diabetes medicines since two years and as per my recent reports HBA1C value came to 6.3 , average blood glucose (134) and fasting (112). But in urine test ,urinary glucose value is v high 3+(5000-1000). What does this mean. Is this a reason to worry.   Is it due to diabetes medicines I am taking due to which body is releasing sugar out of body ? Or something else. I can see lots of ants on toilet seat after urinating.

You have an optimal fasting glucose level and HBA1C for a diabetic.Urinary glucose could be due to anti diabetic medicine or some renal tubular abnormalities.
