I have been struggling with dandruff since my childhood, always when I go to cut my hair, barbers used to say you have a lot of dandruff like scales of it, in past years few years I think it has become worse as hair thinning has just increased, it wasn't like this before, I use ketoconozol 2% on alternate days and has been using it since a year now, before also I use the same but in les frequency. I can't even go 2 full days after washing with keto, as itching and dandruff starts to increase in little time. Is there any way to control it?
Dear Doctor, I am experiencing a fungal skin infection in my groin and inner thigh area for the past few weeks. The affected area shows white flaky patches, redness, and dark discoloration. Symptoms include intense itching and burning sensation upon touch. The infection appears to come and go — partially improving and then worsening again. It has now spread from the groin area to the inner thigh. I tried topical antifungal cream (Itraconazole-based) but saw no permanent improvement. The condition has worsened over the last 2-3 days.
