Visited Dr. Advaith Sai Alampur (Ophthalmologist/ Eye Surgeon) For Cataract Surgery

I booked a consultation with Dr. Advaith for my father who is dealing with Cataract. Even though I live in Gachibowli, I traveled to Secunderabad after reading great reviews about him and how well he handles and explain the procedures to his patients.
To my surprise, we had to wait for almost 90 mins before we could see him. When he did see my father, the meeting lasted for less than 5 mins where he declared that my father has cataract and his first question was whether we have insurance or not?
He then asked us to go downstairs where someone would tell us about the price and packages they offer. I understand getting the surgery done is the ultimate goal but the way he handled us lacked empathy.
He had no answer for a problem that my father asked and replied that he will figure it out after the surgery. I don’t recommend him.

Meeting Dr. Advaith was a wonderful experience. He was very clear on the subject & extremely kind. It wasn't like meeting a doctor. It was more like meeting a well wisher. Dr. Advaith is an excellent doctor & the way he spoke was very very convincing.

I first became acquainted with Dr.Advaith socially a few years ago and this was my first visit to his hospital.I had an eyelid inflammation and Dr.Advaith was very clear and simple in his explanation of the issue.He is extremely friendly and I appreciate his kind and down-to-earth nature.Would highly recommend him to anybody looking for an Eye Doctor.
