My wife, Sharmeela was suffering from Osteoarthritis related Knee Pain(both knees) since long. Prior to our visit to Dr. Kushal Hippalgaonkar in the last week of October 2021 we had consulted a number of Orthopaedic Doctors who all had suggested Total Knee Replacement (TKR) Surgery. Unfortunately none of them could explain us properly about this Surgery and hence our confusion went on increasing with each Doctor visit. It was only Dr. Kushal who explained us in a very simple but effective way about TKR Surgery and the immediate need for my wife to undergo this. Having got convinced we went in for surgery in the first week of December 2021.

Dr. Kushal Hippalgaonkar himself performed the surgery at Sunshine Hospitals. My wife got discharged within a week. Today after nearly 2 months she is able to walk normally without any pain. Me and my wife would rate this surgery as 100% successful one.

In Dr. Kushal we not only found an Extra Ordinary Surgeon but also a soft spoken human being. He was so convincing each time when me or my wife had any doubts during the pre and post surgery period. He has that unique combination of Knowledge, Expertise and Human Touch…..so rare to find in today’s world.

I strongly recommend Dr. Kushal Hippalgaonkar for all osteoporosis related Knee problems. He is available each day Monday to Friday after 7.00 PM at his Barkatpura Clinic(Opp to Shroff Hospital).

She is one doctor who make sure to attend every patients by herself, i have been through other hospitals as well were we get appointment based on doctors availability at that time whom so ever is available and during delivery as well we may or may not have same doctor, but here its not so Dr. Bhavani attended me during my labor at midnight 2:00pm. Precisely for PCOD/PCOS, Menstural issues, Post & Pre Pregnancy & Pregnancy she is the like a go to person. Very humble, Subtle person - she will be best guide through your journey if we follow her perfectly. She wont suggest any test or treatment r food which is not needed. Thanks would be a short word to describe about Dr.Bhavani but i will be thankful to Mam all my life.

We recently had the been under the care of Dr. Niveditha for my mother and I must say, it was an excellent experience. As someone who has struggled with neurological issues for years, my mother had seen her fair share of doctors, but Dr. Niveditha stands out from the rest.

I have had pain in my neck and spine for the past 8 years and nothing seems to help me. I have met many many doctors but Dr.Himanshu Prasad is the first one ever to listen to every single detail and the questions I had. He ruled out all my suspicions by practical examples and physical testing and that sort of gave me a lot of confidence. He immediately followed up with his therapist and made her assess me really well. They discussed my case at length and gave me a direction to go. As all the suspicions have been clearly ruled out by the doctor,I got to know the right diagnosis. I had consulted the doctor as I had fungal infection problem. My friend suggested me to visit this doctor. Doctor took 800 Rs fees and he prescribed only 60 rs antibiotics. I was not happy with it. He didn't explain what was the cause for the fungal infection. I wasted my time. I told the problem clearly. Waiting time was for one hour. I am not satisfied with the doctor. Later I went to skin department. Then they told to pay 500 Rs. I went because the rating was more in Practo. In pharmacy they told antibiotic tablet was not necessary. Doctor told that the fungal problem might be due to urine infection so I have visited another doctor for urine infection issue. Later I went to a different hospital and I got recovered. They could have told I should have gone to the skin department initially. My friend saw in app and he suggested to go. It was difficult to get an appointment there. I am good now.

Its my absolute honor to write about Dr Himanshu Prasad. We visited him along with my mom to get treated for Spine. He had lot of patience to listen to all of us talking to him at same time and handled the situation, patient and patient's attendants also very well. He gave that confidence to my Mom that she can heal and recover which really worked apart from the surgery which he has done. On top of it, we had a situation where we couldnt take our mom to hospital and he visited us at home. Am sure any Dr of his stature would have confined the consulation through Video or any one from his Team, but he came personally to visit the patient.

My case history:

I met with an accident in Dec 2014 and had some ligament issue, got mostly recovered through physiotherapy in the meantime.

Since a couple of years I am experiencing issue to walk, fell down couple of times due to instability.

Dr. from Apollo made me go through MRIs and recommended for immediate spine surgery.

When I met Dr. Khushal in 2021 for 2nd option regarding this, he told me that my problem is not ortho, it is Neuro. Later I had a Brain MRI as recommended and diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis - a neuro disease. So, started the treatment for my actual problem.

Dr. Khushal is my life saver from unnecessary surgeries, procedures & treatments. Felt blessed about this solution. I will sincerely recommend him for any ortho issues to get a safe treatment and health benefits. He is like God to us who has saved me from that spine surgery (which was recommended by Apollo Dr) and helped to start the right treatment for the actual problem.

My first consultation was with Dr. Gurava Reddy in November, where he suggested to try and treat my knee pain with medication and physical exercise. Visited post three months course, Dr. Gurava Reddy had suggested consulting with Dr. Kushal in February.

My experience with Dr. Kushal Hippalgoankar was very friendly and informative. He double-checked the results of my MRI with the radiologist to give me an assured answer, which was Arthroscopic Meniscectomy. His assistant (Mr.Brahmananda) was also very helpful in guiding me through the process.

On 11th March 2022, my surgery took about 2 - 2 and a half hours. At my request in the OT, the doctor shared the inside view me my knee joint on the screen. He also explained the procedure he had conducted and that my ACL was completely intact (which was feared to be partially damaged in the MRI). I had a cashless experience through my insurance (paid a minimal amount for the procedure).

I would like to thank Dr, Gurava Reddy, Dr. Kushal Hippalgoankar, and his team to help me step in the right direction.

There are very few doctors like him! The way he treats patients is absolutely Amazing. Not only mine, but also I’ve heard it from other patients too. He’s one of the most humble, sophisticated, welcoming and mainly approachable doctors that anybody would come across.
