Padmaja Hospital defines quality as a composite of outcomes, safety, and service. Quality at Padmaja Hospital involves the entirety of a patient's experience, from the first visit to the last appointment. We have been constantly working on to ensure a comprehensive approach to better patient care and to create a safe work environment for our staff. Our aim is to provide the care to every patient through excellence, a combination of excellent clinical practice, commitment to providing compassionate care and earning the trust of our patients. In this context, we developed the strategy helping the patients stay well and we work under the guidance of this quality construct, which we have found to be of great value. We employ many quality strategies such as decreased patient mortality, decreased hospital length of stay, and decreased complication rates. As part of our commitment to quality measures, we strive to deliver cost-effective and safe care to the patients we serve and maintain the highest clinical and ethical standards of care. We believe that the highest level of patient safety and healthcare quality is achievable by utilizing evidence-based medicine and aggressively addressing quality and patient safety concerns.Follow-up Care:After you are discharged from the hospital, you are generally told to be in touch with your doctors for follow-up appointments within a week as it is very important to make sure you are experiencing a healthy recovery. The follow-up appointments usually take place every few months and doctors can also advise you on diet and activities you need to be careful with. At Padmaja Hospital, we follow a genuine practice of providing a plan for regular follow-up visits to check certain risk factors including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and obesity. This also provides the patients with a good opportunity to discuss any concerns they have. We also provide a written copy of the detailed home care and follow-up instructions which is important for the speedy recovery. Our hospital employs a dedicated follow-up team of doctors who focus on coordinating the follow-up appointments in a flexible manner. It is important for the patient who underwent a surgery to have this sort of timely follow-up after being discharged so the surgeon can evaluate the recovery and response to treatment and make sure the patient can continue to get better and not relapse.
