My mom was admitted at Continental hospital with COVID. Her saturation was at 60 and she needed to be placed on ventilator. We were in the US and with the dire situation of COVID in India- could not travel to India immediately. Dr. Pradeep was very accommodating with our requests. He used to do whatsapp calls every day providing us health status of my mom. He clearly explained the situation and was transparent with his treatment/ risks associated with the plan. Initially my mom was in Bipap and showed improvement but later deteriorated and needed ventilator. Dr handled the emergency situation with precision and ensured she was given the best care. When we travelled to India, I met him the first day. Dr explained all the reports and the trends in reports. While he was treating the lungs, my mom also had various infections that were presented which complicated the situation. He was proactive in his treatment approach by monitoring all the organs and providing the best treatment. I can assure you that if not for Dr Pradeep my mother would not have survived the 30 days in the hospital. Even during discharge she needed oxygen support at home and he intimated us of the requirements ahead of the time so that we had time to procure them as there was dire shortage of concentrators and oxygen cylinders in May 2021. I had other friends parents go through COVID treatment at other hospitals with other doctors with terrible experiences. We are blessed to have found Dr. Pradeep as my mom's pulmonologist. Even after discharge, Dr has helped us coordinate the appointments and has been treating my mom with utmost care and excellence. My mom has high respect for the doctor since he is patient with her and her questions. He answers every question without any irritation and helps her navigate the treatment seamlessly. He is very kind and I would highly recommend Dr Pradeep as a Pulmonologist. In fact, I told every single person I met since my mom contracted COVID about Dr Pradeep and recommended meeting him for treatment. We came to Dr. Rajasekhar Reddy for the treatment of my mother. We are very blessed to have met him. My mother is 80 years old and a diabetic. She was suffering from severe strobing leg pain and numbness for the past 10 years. The pain was so severe that she could barely walk, let alone do any of the daily activities at home. We had consulted many doctors who had diagnosed the condition as peripheral neuropathy. As years went by her symptoms became more severe. So, we finally thought of consulting a neurosurgeon and searched on Practo to find *** **** neurosurgeon in Hyderabad. Out of 50 odd doctors, we were very impressed by Dr. Rajasekhar Reddy’s profile. We booked an appointment in Continental Hospitals, Nanakramguda and took my mother for consultation. His demeanour was very pleasant and he was very cordial towards us. We explained in detail about my mother’s medical history. He listened carefully and patiently. Then he looked into the MRI and examined my mother. Following which he explained to us that she was suffering from spinal stenosis, which has been causing the problem all these years. He explained that surgery (Lumbar Laminectomy) is the best viable option. Although he pointed out that surgery could only eliminate 50-60% of the symptoms and told us not to expect of 100%. We applaud him for his honesty.

Then he gave us a thorough explanation about surgery and mentioned that although there could be complications with this type of surgery they are very rare. After which he answered all our queries and cleared all our doubts. Sure enough when we left his room our confidence in him increased immensely and we knew at that instant that we made the right choice. Finally, we went on with the surgery. On surgery day he made sure my mother was in the right place mentally. He boosted her morale and assured her that there is nothing to worry about. The surgery was a success. Sure enough, there have been no complications. It has been a week and I am delighted to say that my mother’s symptoms have decreased by more than 70%. We are very grateful to Dr. Rajasekhar Reddy.

Dr. Jyoti Kankanala, the doctor whom I admire the most, has brought special moments in our life by handling my pregnancy with her excellent expertise and experience. It was during our pregnancy period that we are searching for good gynaecologist and decided to shift to nearby hospital. We took an appointment with Dr. Jyoti with a little bit of doubt whether she agrees to take us in during the almost final stage of delivery. To our surprise she warmly welcomed us with a very simple and gentle smile and in no time she has understood our case and started preparing us. Dr. Jyoti is very dynamic and professionally excellent gynaecologist that I have ever met. I find short of words to describe the care and concern she rendered during my delivery that myself and my little prince could able to see the light of the day today. Her decision making ability coupled with her great expertise made life very ease even in ICU for 10 days. In addition, her personal touch with her compassionate heart will always make you feel that someone (Dr. Jyoti) is around us and we don’t need to worry even during odd of hours of the day. Even our family members are at ease and confident with her way of updates and treatment procedures she explains. Even her post-delivery consultations are filled with so much care and concern that I still cherish and brings nostalgia. Her entire team members are so trained and were very caring. Well, there is no end to write about her goodness. Personally, I thank Dr. Jyoti and her team for all the care that I had a very memorable lovely experience of motherhood.
