Creatinine is 1.05
I got my creatinine checked as a routine check up It came out 1.05 It is within the normal range but still earlier 3 months back it came out to be 0.76 from another lab It's much greater than it was previously I am worried as is it something to worry for? I am scared. I have no such kidney ailments at present.

Hi man Both values are  normal. The thing is, the Creatinine level depends on your hydration status. You might have drank a little amount of water. I saw you are an IT professional. You should take plenty of water. Still, reports are normal. There's no need to worry.
Next Steps
take same blood test again one month later. Get physician opinion if you have any symptom

Don't panic, it's normal varies from Lab to Lab and varies upon diet as well. Get regular check ups every 3-6 months. Keep all your reports in one place as a medical history incase you need it in the future. As of now, nothing to do, maintain a healthy lifestyle exercise 3-4/days a week.

Normal Range: Your creatinine level of 1.05 mg/dL is within the normal range (0.6 to 1.2 mg/dL for males). Variability: Slight variations in creatinine levels between tests can occur due to differences in lab methods, diet, hydration status, and muscle mass. Since you have no known kidney ailments and your result is within the normal range, there is likely no immediate cause for concern.
Next Steps
Ensure you are drinking enough water daily, as dehydration can affect creatinine levels. Consistent Testing: Try to get your tests done at the same laboratory for consistency in results. Review Medications and Diet: Consider if any recent changes in medications or diet might have influenced your creatinine level. Do check eGFR And BUN
Health Tips
Be aware of symptoms such as swelling, fatigue, decreased urine output, or high blood pressure.

There are many other tests in the bouquet of Kidney Function Tests. When you are worried then you should see the reports of all the tests and compare them with the "normal range" as given by the Laboratory. It may give you a lot of confidence but if you are still worried then please consult a General Physician with all the reports.
