1. Make sure to include more fiber in your diet by eating fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes. Fiber helps by adding bulk to your stool, which makes bowel movements easier and more regular. 2. Stay hydrated by drinking at least 8-10 glasses of water each day—this will keep your digestive system running smoothly. 3. For extra help with constipation, you can take sabgol husk (a natural remedy). You can find it in .Dabur's Isabgol husk boxes: -Dosage:2 teaspoons -How to take:Mix with water and take 1 hour after dinner 4. Most importantly, stay active! Regular physical activity, like walking or light exercise, is essential for keeping your body healthy and your digestion moving. A daily walk or even simple stretches can work wonders for your digestion and overall well-being. Remember, staying active keeps you not just physically strong, but mentally refreshed too.

You didn't mention when you passed a motion for the last time. If it is only 2,3 ,or 4 days then you can take some Laxative like Dulcoflex tablet or Syrup Duphalac. If it is more than a week then you should get an enema so that all the hard stools can be removed from the rectum. Once the rectum has been cleared then you can use a mild laxative for a few days.

The first thing you should do is make sure your lifestyle is checked. That includes your diet, water intake and physical activity. - Eat food with high fibre content and an adequate amount of protein and fat to make a bulk. - Consume water based on your weight and your physical activity. A generic rule is to consume a litre of fluid for every 20kg of body weight. (Note that this fluid also includes fluid in food and water content of fruits/vegetables/juices etc) - Increase physical activity on a daily basis. It helps in bowel movement. Squatting or the Child's pose help too. Second thing is to rule out any digestive system disorder like Inflammatory Bowel disease. Thirdly, to avoid excessive straining to pass bowel which may cause complications like Piles, you may consider a laxative in acute cases for only a  short period of time.
Next Steps
If none of the above works, visit a doctor of Medicine or Gastroenterology for further investigation and diagnosis of the root cause.
Health Tips
NOTE using laxative for long time (Chronic Laxative use) has several side effects and does not help in correcting root cause of constipation.
