Query Regarding Weight loss
My wife (29 years old) started weight loss program recently. She is weighing herself almost every day, sometimes twice in a day. And she gets upset after not seeing the desired results or numbers. I would like to know whether it's a good approach to weight so frequently or not. If not, then ideally how often we should check our body weight? Thanks in advance..!!

Hello, Losing weight takes time, weigh after every 3-4 days early in the morning at the exact same place. Try wearing same clothes or light clothes while weighing.

Hello It is better to check weight every week emty stomch with light clothes Every week she should loose 400 to 600 gm per week ( 3 to 4kg in month) differ with health issues if it there. Avoid checking weight everyday

Daily weight check is not right weekly basis can check ur weight. For reducing weight follow three main things like healthy diet, exercise and brisk walk morning and evening. Take high fiber food in ur diet. Add plenty of water. Small and frequent feeding should be included in your diet.

Hi there! completely understands her concerns & excitement to lose weight (excess fats) but it takes time to see results on weighing scale. When she hav enrolled for the program i am sure they must have informed when she is suppose to check the weight. if not then it is not correct deal which she have enrolled. She should check her weight on empty stomach when she started her diet and again she can check her weight post 7 days. As body composition changes after every 10-12 days that means body needs diet changes.

However if she is not able to loose weight there might be some medical issues related to the same. Regularly weighing yourself very often means more burden than benefit, because your scale shows  only a number that doesn't take a lot of other variables such as muscle mass, hydration and even hormones into account. Daily fluctuations in weight is common and if you are feeling heavy today than yesterday doesn't mean that your program is not working. Monthly variations is also common  and natural in menstruating women.
