Hello,
I'm not able to sleep properly for prolonged hours. I barely sleep for 3-4 hours, and then my sleep breaks. I usually sleep in intervals, and because of this, I always feel irritated. I really want to sleep for 8 hours straight. However, it hardly happens. I need help to improve my sleep schedule.
Thanks!

Please consult a General Physician in your area for a physical examination and further management.
You may need anti-anxiety drugs which can't be prescribed by Tele-consultation.

You might be having most probably any stress, prolonged use of mobile screens. Try this:
1. Set a sleep routine
2. Have dinner 4 hrs before sleep
3. Limit use of caffeine
4.exercises for half an hour in evening
Next Steps
If not ok with this, consult a sleep medicine specialist
Hello dear,
Irregular sleep can be frustrating and affect your daily life. Here are some healthy sleep habits that may help improve your sleep schedule:
Healthy Sleep Tips:
1. Maintain a Sleep Schedule:
Sleep and wake up at the same time daily, even on weekends.
2. Create a Relaxing Bedtime Routine:
Avoid screens (phones, laptops, TV) 30-60 minutes before bedtime.
Try meditation, deep breathing, or reading a book before sleeping.
3. Optimize Your Sleep Environment:
Keep your room dark, quiet, and at a comfortable temperature.
Use blackout curtains or a sleep mask if needed.
4. Watch Your Diet:
Avoid caffeine and nicotine 4-6 hours before bed.
Avoid heavy meals right before sleeping.
5. Stay Active:
Engage in regular physical activity, but avoid exercising too close to bedtime.
6. Manage Stress:
Practice relaxation techniques like yoga or journaling to reduce stress and anxiety.
If these lifestyle changes do not improve your sleep within 2-4 weeks, or if your sleep issues worsen, consult a doctor for further evaluation. There could be underlying conditions such as insomnia, anxiety, or hormonal imbalances that may require medical intervention.
