Hello Ma’am, What you are describing sounds like sleep anxiety — the fear of not being able to sleep itself keeps you awake. This is quite common and usually related to stress, overthinking, or irregular sleep habits. Some steps that may help: Follow a fixed sleep routine (same sleep and wake-up time daily). Avoid phone, TV, or bright screens at least 1 hour before bed. Practice relaxation before sleep — deep breathing, meditation, or reading something light. Keep your bedroom dark, quiet, and cool for better sleep quality. Avoid excess tea/coffee especially in the evening. If the problem continues for long and affects your daily life, consulting a doctor (preferably a psychiatrist or sleep specialist) is advisable for detailed evaluation and counseling. I hope it helps you. For proper management and treatment, you can consult me, 📞 WhatsApp for free consultation: nine one one nine two five five six nine nine

Try meditation and deep breathing exercises. Steps - Inhaling for 4 seconds, holding breath for 4 seconds and exhaling through mouth for 6-8 seconds. Deep breathing helps calming your mind. Keep your phone away atleast 30-60 min before sleep time, and switch off the lights it helps a lot. Listening to soft instrumental music, white noise, or sleep meditations can quiet mental chatter. Try these simple routine changes for a better night's sleep.

Try meditating for a while before sleeping. A good guided breathing exercice relaxes the mind. Have a cup of warm milk or take hot shower before bed. Write a journal of good things that happened. This might help relieving your anxiety

I got you ...but more you preoccupied your mind before going to sleep with the thought that "will I be able to sleep today?" Or like " today i dont think of anything but just sleep" these typ of thoughts or preoccupied thoughts will make you more anxious and as a result you will get disturbed. For better understanding can you plz share if you have other thoughts or tension going on with you like about someone else, about your career, about your academics??? Also the best you can do is put a sleep otlr relaxed music not any song on your phone or speaker at low volume and just close your eyes and listen to it ..just listen with free mind ...I assure you, you will fall asleep after 15-20mins.
Next Steps
if you think this doesnot work then consult

Try to focus  on the good things happening in the day, say a prayer or read something positive, when going to sleep. Avoid late evening meals and heavy meals in evening. Drink more water. Do some physical exercise,  activity, regularly. You will definitely,  slowly be rid of this anxiety. You are young, unless some stress, there is no issue why you should not get sleep.

It sounds like you are experiencing anxiety related to sleep, which is quite common. The worry itself often makes it harder to fall asleep.
Next Steps
Try to keep a regular sleep schedule Avoid tea/coffee or phone use at least 2–3 hours before bedtime. Practice a relaxation technique like slow deep breathing, light reading, or listening to calming audio before sleep. Remind yourself that even if you don’t fall asleep immediately, resting quietly is still beneficial.
Health Tips
If this problem is happening often or affecting your daytime routine, it’s best to consult a doctor, as short-term counseling or medication can help break this cycle.
