Visited Dr. Aditya Nair (Psychiatrist) For Anxiety And Depression
Hoped for better: Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfactionValue for money
I've my reasons to not recommend this doctor. I went there to be treated for depression after chronic illness and pain due to a spine injury. He's not the first psychiatrist/counselor I've visited. So, I obviously expected to be treated well and to feel good after meeting a doctor. * ******* He used many adjectives to define my personality, *** ** **** **** *** ** ** ****** ** *** **** ** **** ** ******** Anxiety was the main factor. He isn't friendly, I found him arrogant and kinda rude in his approach. He was very judgemental, ****** ********* * ************ ********* *** ***** *** I still underwent that test, MCMI-IV, to be clear about myself. He prescribed medicines and told that if I felt the need, I could go for counseling sessions too. He told I'd have to take those meds for 6 months and I'll be fine. After a couple of days of taking this meds, I really remained happy. I went back to him after a long gap than asked (was travelling for work, etc) and expressed what I went through and how I felt. He was very cold and non-empathetic as usual. Prescribed more meds. Now he told me that, I have to take those meds, NOT 6-9 months from now, but from the time I recover. Also, asked me to go to somebody for counselling. I don't mind going for that either. It always feels better to express oneself before somebody who understands. I had my set of questions, which he answered in a way, like, beating around the bush. He had done this in the previous two sessions too. * ****** **** **** ***** ** ***** ** *** ****** Too many words, **** ********* *** ****** ******** * *** ******* ******* ***** *** ********** ******** ******* *** * **** ** ** *** ****** * ****** ******* **** **** ** *** ****** **** **** ** ******* **** * *** *** **** ******* **** **** ************ ******* ********* **** *** **** ** ***** I have literally cried after returning from his session. ****** ******* **** * ************ ********* ** ***** ** **** * **** **** **** *** ******** **** ******* **** ** ******* ***** ***** ** ********** Despite not feeling good by meeting him for the first and second time (before and after the test he had asked me to do), I still went to see him again thinking that I might be overthinking or judging him unnecessarily but the third visit made me feel so awful about my situation and life that, I'd definitely never want to see him again. And to be honest, I had been quite relaxed and happy these days, **** ******* **** ** **** ********* *** **** ****** ***** ** **** *** ******* Did I forget to mention that he's not a good listener? This is solely my experience. It can be different for others.
Visited Dr. D. Shrinivas (Orthopedic surgeon)
I had consulted the doctor in january 2020 and it was for my knee related issue as i was suffering from knee tendon inflammation issue. Doctor was pretty nice, ** *** ****** ********* **** ** **** **** ****** * He suggested some exercise. He told not to worry. He gave medication. I visited for 3-4 weeks. I am satisfied with the treatment given. I can recommend doctor to my family or friends. There was no waiting time when I went. It was for 5-10 minutes. I can rate the doctor 4.5 out of 5, 5 being highest. Medicine was prescribed by the doctor , he told to take only if pain is there. Hospitality was good.

Lets start with morning call to confirm from hospital that am i coming or not to meet doctor. The staff members are very very cooperative specially thnx to Jyoti in the OPD section which was on 5th floor. She checked my BP, SPO2, PULSE and ask about my illness. Dr Kiran Mhatre Sir, MBBS, MD came on time and a very polite and calm and ask everything about me. He treated me very well. I was suffering from high fever with cold, CRP Level was too high but he adviced me less medicine and to take exercise. Its a nice pleasure to meet him. I had visited the hospital and it was a health problem frozen shoulder, shoulder pain related. *** ****** *** ***** Medicine was prescribed by the doctor. Physiotherapy was suggested by the doctor. I didn't start Physiotherapy. I am not able to visit because of the COVID issue. The doctor was spending less time like 5 - 10 minutes which I didn't like. For one month I was looking appointment for him. I still have pain in right hand. I am taking tablets suggested by him. Initially, I was not able to lift hand. Now it's manageable. I don't have plans to go again currently. I can recommend if there is no other option in hand. Frankly speaking, My family member had visited before him, he had good experience because of that I had visited. There was no waiting time when I went.
