Yashada Maternity & Nursing Home, Goregaon East

From High-Risk Panic to Pure Joy: *** *** ****** ***** ** *** **** ****** *** *** *** **** ********** pregnancy were an action movie, our 5th and 7th months were peak suspense!

We started our consultation journey with Dr. Nikhil D Datar at Yashada Maternity and Nursing Home (Goregaon East) and later welcomed our healthy baby at Cloudnine Hospital (Malad). Looking back, choosing Dr. Datar was single-handedly the best decision we made.

Around month five, our ultrasound showed low amniotic fluid (oligohydramnios). Naturally, late-night internet searches sent us spiraling. Dr. Datar, however, remained the calmest person in the room. He prescribed a targeted clinical treatment plan and hydration regimen, closely tracking the parameters until the fluid index bounced right back into the safe zone.

Just when we thought we could cruise, our 8th-month scan revealed our baby had wrapped the umbilical cord around the neck not once, but three times (a triple nuchal cord loop). Many places would immediately push parents into high panic or rush an emergency procedure. Dr. Datar did neither. He carefully evaluated the Doppler blood flows, monitored the baby's activity, explained the physiology in simple words, and gave us a comfortable 2 to 3 weeks during the 9th month to plan our delivery date calmly and safely.

When the big day arrived at Cloudnine Hospital, the experience was world-class. From the warm, attentive nurses to the entire support staff, we felt completely protected. The nursing team back at Yashada was equally supportive and courteous throughout our routine visits.

If you are searching for an experienced, evidence-based obstetrician and high-risk pregnancy specialist who treats patients with genuine humor, patience, *** **** *********** ****** Dr. Nikhil Datar is second to none. 10/10 recommendation!

Pregnancy is the most wonderful yet challenging journey for every woman.

But for me Dr Nikhil Datar sir played the most important role during this journey **** **** *********** ****** ****** ************ When Nikhil Datar sir is there victory is sure...

During my first pregnancy I went through severe pre- eclampsia the most dangerous complications yet Dr handled this very smoothly and literally saved my life.

I was very scared about second pregnancy. Dr said that first we will do some test and then decide whether to conceive or not.... But by God grace all tests were normal and the second journey started. Each n every month, slowly n steadily with help of them finally I successfully completed my journey of pregnancy without any complications just because of Dr Datar sir... This is nothing but like Miracle... As everyone knows that if you have history of eclampsia then there are more chances for negative outcome.

Sir always explains each n every thing as it is (Cristal clear) .Most important sir never recommended any unnecessary test or even a single tablet which is unnecessary because they are very much confident in each n every case. So I'm always be thankful to you sir and all Yashada team.

Once you visit to Datar sir for any maternity related or gynac problem then sure shot you have taken the most important wise decision....Thanks a lot sir.

Dr. Nikhil Datar has been a guiding force throughout my pregnancy journey. We consulted him on my cousin’s recommendation, and from the very first day, we knew it was the right decision. He ensured that my entire pregnancy remained stressfree, patiently answering every question and creating a welcoming environment where I felt comfortable expressing my concerns.

What began as a doctor–patient relationship soon grew into something more personal. Dr. Datar explained every aspect with kindness and without judgment, making us feel as though we were speaking to a trusted family member. Unlike the anxiety many people feel when visiting doctors, with him we looked forward to each session. If there is one word that defines “relief,” it is the experience of consulting Dr. Datar.

These nine months passed quickly, and saying goodbye was bittersweet. Thanks to his guidance, I understood every change in my body without ever feeling overwhelmed. I am especially grateful for his support during delivery. We often met him at his own maternity clinic (Yashada), and also at Cloudnine where he practices. Since Yashada was undergoing renovation, my delivery happened at Cloudnine due to a prior arrangement facilitated by him. The delivery package was quite reasonable. Even in the delivery room, he kept the atmosphere light by playing a song! He ensured that I deliver safely and affordably, for which I remain deeply thankful!

My appointment was at 6:30pm (booked using practo and rescheduled because of waiting time) and 7:30pm i got the chance to enter into doctor’s cabin. Not only this, he was on call for approximately 15 min.

I don’t understand whats the point of taking appointment in advance? If a doctor is busy and unavailable at the committed time slot, shouldn’t the assistant inform the concerned person?

I completely understand and respect doctor’s time and giving time to each patient depending on what the case is but so do I respect mine and others as well.

I kindly request the management to utilise the resources ( online mediums, apps, calls etc.)well to make the process smoother. Thanks

** ****** ***** ** * ********* ************* We completed our pregnancy journey with him very smoothly in the year 2020. Right from M1 to M9 he provided the right guidance for us. He made us very comfortable at every step of the process. Considering Covid 19 situation and ours being a slightly late pregnancy, everything went really well. We got blessed with a baby boy in September 2020. We can not thank him enough and would strongly recommend him to anyone who is looking for quality pregnancy health care. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Pregnancy is one of the most important phase of life for any woman. There are changes that are physical and mental and if there is stress related to pregnancy it can cost you your baby. I was stuck in a similar situation where due to my age (in early 40s) there was fear of baby developing Down syndrome and I was suggested by the gynaecologist I was referring to then, to go for Amniocentesis test which is an invasive test and which can harm the baby if not done in the right way. When I came to Dr. Nikhil Datar first of all he studied my report and comforted me saying there are very less chances of test coming positive. He also asked me to go for NIPT test instead of Amniocentesis test as it is non invasive and not cause any harm to the baby. The report was normal. Dr’s right approach and jolly nature helped me get rid of the stress and enjoy my pregnancy.

Later in my pregnancy due to age I also developed gestational diabetes and blood pressure which Dr helped me handle very sensibly with his positive and lively attitude and required guidance. With Dr Nikhil Datar I felt I was in safe hands and I delivered normal and healthy baby. So if you are in safe hands and take good care of yourself even pregnancy in 40s can be a memorable and enjoyable experience.

Thank you so much Dr.

I had been suffering from heavy bleeding due to fibroids for almost 10 years. Most gynaecologists only suggested surgery, with no assurance it wouldn’t return. I even tried homeopathy for years. In 2024, just before Diwali, I bled continuously for 45 days with heavy clots and was completely drained—physically and emotionally.

That’s when I met Dr. Nikhil Datar at Cloud 9. I walked in terrified, with high BP, but he calmly listened—something most doctors forget to do. He looked at my reports, smiled, and reassured me: “Why are you scared? It’s just a fibroid.” Before I could even plead against surgery, he prescribed medicines. That's all.

That medicine was a boon. My bleeding stopped, my energy returned, and I finally felt free after a decade. I could travel again, focus on my career, and even went on two long foreign trips. Professionally too, I thrived and won two major awards. Now after 1 year, when i went today for my followup, yet again with high anxiety, he smiled and with his unique own way he said "what are you worried about, your fibroids have shrunk, continue the medicines". No SURGERY. What a relief.

I’m sharing this for every woman silently suffering and thinking surgery is the only option. Please consult Dr. Nikhil Datar now.

He is not just an excellent doctor, but a truly compassionate human being.

Thank you, Doctor—you gave me my life and happiness back* *

When I was diagnosed with FGR during my pregnancy, I was very anxious. Looking back today, all I feel is gratitude that Dr. Nikhil Dattar was my doctor. His expertise, patience, and reassurance carried me through every stage of my pregnancy and gave me the confidence to trust the journey.

Today, I am blessed to hold my healthy baby girl in my arms. And someday, when she's old enough, I'll tell her that before I met her, there was a doctor who watched over her with so much care and helped bring her safely into our lives.
