I was suffering from blunt force trauma to my retina when I visit Dr. Mehta. The moment I entered the clinic, I was Assisted with a very helpful nurse who understood what's ailing me and made sure that the minimum waiting period was comfortable and my eye treatment was starter immediately. After initial tests, Dr. Mehta explained me in detail and layman terms what was the issue and how and what can be done. The entire process was very calming considering I was afraid of the damage but he made me understand everything quite comfortably. Dr. Gupta is one of the most nicest doc that I've met and it's important cause in instance where I was afraid AF, no doc's degree is going to calm me down;albeit Dr. Mehta is one of the most renowned ophthalmologist in Mumbai. I would happily recommend him.

Dr Himanshu Mehta is a very unpleasant person. Not only was he rude and dismissive with my mother.. his staff also tried to exaggerate and scare my parents regarding her impending cataract operations. This stressed her out. During their visits he did not bother to show ***** courtesy of listening to the patient and discussing the course of action ahead.
Dr mehta and his juhu vission clinic are on company panel for my parents… every test was billed double the cost. An eye test that would cost 7000 for his normal patients was billed 14,000 for us. When we asked the staff about the discrepancy we were told “your company is paying and it’s like this only for corporate employees.”
After this bad experience we decided to get both operations done at another hospital with a different doctor. *** ***** ******* *** ********* **** ******** ********** **** ********** *** *** ******* **** **** ** ******** ***** ******* ********** *** ** *** *** ****** *********** *******

I got both eyes cataract done at The Vission Eye Center and both the surgeries went off very well, I had no pain and any kind of discomfort. Everything was done very well. Dr Mehta is simply amazing and has is very effecient. Most recommended eye clinic.
