I have been undergoing treatment for Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) under Dr. Ravi Krishna Sir, a Hemato-Oncologist at Medicover Hospital, Hyderabad, for over a year. Unfortunately, my previous doctor overprescribed cancer drugs for more than three years during my Myeloma cancer treatment. This heavy overdosing led to a drug-induced secondary cancer known as Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS). Upon diagnosing this, Dr. Ravi Sir immediately told me to stop all Myeloma medications, confirming that I no longer had Myeloma. In fact, tests later revealed that my initial Stage 1 Myeloma was 100% cured. It makes me realize that if my previous doctor had timely advised me to stop those drugs, I would have never developed MDS.Thankfully, Dr. Ravi Krishna’s swift intervention stopped the high-dosage medications, successfully preventing the MDS from progressing into Leukemia. I visited this doctor at Medicover Hospital only once and would not choose to consult him again. I approached him for a severe cough. I recently underwent a robotic surgery at Medicover Hospitals, Financial District, under the care of Dr. Prithvi Perum Mam. My surgery lasted around 6 hours, and I am extremely grateful to Mam for performing the surgery so well and making the entire experience much more comfortable than I expected.

Before the surgery, we were quite worried about the cost because robotic surgery can be expensive. However, Dr. Prithivi Mam was extremely supportive and helped us with the insurance process as well. When we finally saw the hospital bill, we were genuinely surprised and relieved by the amount. Her approach towards patients is something we truly appreciated.
