In addition to the Health Care and Academics, the Trust has established Bhawan Mahavir Medical Research Centre in 1983. The Centre is recognized by Dept., of Scientific & Industrial Research bodies such as World Bank, WHO, DFID of U.K, among others. Research is being carried out in Genetics and Immunology. Osmania University and Unversity of Hyderabad have recognized the centre for award of PhD for research work done here.30 candidates have already received Doctorate so far. More than 40 Research Projects have been completed and more are presently in progress. More than 50 Clinical trials were taken up to test the efficacy of various drugs developed by reputed International pharmaceutical companies.Located in Hyderabad, the Hospital had a modest beginning in 1978 with only 80 beds. Today, it has grown into a 220 bed multi-speciality institution offering unmatched facilities at extremely affordable rates. 25% of the beds in the general ward are free of accommodation and service changes, to meet the need of those who are not so financially well-off.Mahavir Hospital boasts state-of the art equipment and the latest diagnostic aids, to provide patients the finest service in Telangana for Kidney Transplantation Surgery, Haemodialysis packages, Angiogram, Angioplasty and Open Heart Surgery.Teaching and education have been accorded top priority. In short, Dr Rajaram's nature is of straight forward. You might feel that he is not concerned with patient's overall being as he does not do the friendly sweet talk like doctors.
As a patient or their family member, you need to listen and understand what the doctor suggests you. Only then you can question his credibility.
