SAI JYOTHI EYE HOSPITAL, Secunderabad

I booked a consultation with Dr. Advaith for my father who is dealing with Cataract. Even though I live in Gachibowli, I traveled to Secunderabad after reading great reviews about him and how well he handles and explain the procedures to his patients.

To my surprise, we had to wait for almost 90 mins before we could see him. When he did see my father, the meeting lasted for less than 5 mins where he declared that my father has cataract and his first question was whether we have insurance or not?

He then asked us to go downstairs where someone would tell us about the price and packages they offer. I understand getting the surgery done is the ultimate goal but the way he handled us lacked empathy.

He had no answer for a problem that my father asked and replied that he will figure it out after the surgery. I don’t recommend him.

Meeting Dr. Advaith was a wonderful experience. He was very clear on the subject & extremely kind. It wasn't like meeting a doctor. It was more like meeting a well wisher. Dr. Advaith is an excellent doctor & the way he spoke was very very convincing.

I first became acquainted with Dr.Advaith socially a few years ago and this was my first visit to his hospital.I had an eyelid inflammation and Dr.Advaith was very clear and simple in his explanation of the issue.He is extremely friendly and I appreciate his kind and down-to-earth nature.Would highly recommend him to anybody looking for an Eye Doctor.

I felt like I needed more time to explain my issue...

Doc was friendly..but kind of felt like he was in a hurry...

Did not listen my points completely...

They have suggested us to go for OCT for Retina for both eyes which charged us 3000 rupees ***** *** ************ ****** ** *** ******* **** *********** ******* It was hard for us to obtain such money in one go. Hope you understand thanks .

Doctor explained the health issue and also was clear on what needs to be done ... he was not only focusing on medication but was clearly explaining the steps to take at home

The doctor was patient and Friendly. The facility was neat and well sanitised. I would recommend this place for people living in Secunderabad region

I went for second opinion for performing lasik surgery for +7.5power and was like not recommended but he has done test for my retina and result was positive , and then suggested for lasik surgery. His way of explanation about the process was pretty good and clear once results are positive.that gives me an hope

Would highly recommend. They did a whole eye checkup to find the root cause. The issue was minor but the care they took was impressive.

As the practo is showing 400 as consultation fee but they were charging 500rs from the patient and moreover the doctor had explained the issue very well.
