Excessive hair fall, low energy, and back pain may be related to deficiencies such as iron, vitamin B12, or vitamin D, especially in patients with diabetes. However, thyroid problems and uncontrolled blood sugar can also contribute. I would recommend checking your CBC, ferritin, vitamin B12, vitamin D, TSH, and HbA1c before choosing the right supplement. A multivitamin alone may not address the underlying cause.
Next Steps
Since you also have migraines for 2 years and diabetes since 2022, please book a consultation so I can review your symptoms, current medications, and reports and suggest a suitable supplement and treatment plan
Health Tips
Avoid starting high-dose supplements without medical advice.

Check your iron profile. If iron is low it's better to take iron tablets rather than multivitamin. Hope your sugars are under control. Take iron rich foods

With diabetes since 2022 plus hair fall, constant low energy, back pain and 2-year migraine, you most likely have overlapping B12 deficiency from Metformin, low Vitamin D and low iron/ferritin, so please get HbA1c, Vitamin D, B12, ferritin and TSH checked , and for a multivitamin look for a sugar-free diabetic formula with methylcobalamin B12 + folate + B6 for energy, low-dose D3 + calcium + magnesium for bone/back pain and migraine, plus zinc, selenium and 30-50 mcg biotin for hair, avoid high-sugar gummies, extra iron unless your ferritin is low, and mega-dose Vitamin A/E, and support it with 20 min morning sunlight, 60-70g protein daily, 7 hours regular sleep, good hydration and tight blood sugar control.

Hello, excessive hair fall, low energy and back pain can have several causes, including iron deficiency, vitamin B12 or vitamin D deficiency, thyroid problems, and poorly controlled blood sugar. Please consult your doctor for evaluation and consider checking CBC, serum ferritin, vitamin B12, TSH, and vitamin D, along with your blood glucose or HbA1c. A multivitamin may help if you have a nutritional deficiency, but it will not treat every cause of hair fall. It is better to identify the cause before starting supplements, especially iron tablets. Medication safety warning: Since you have diabetes, do not take high-dose vitamin supplements or start iron treatment without medical advice. Some supplements can interfere with medicines or cause harm when taken unnecessarily. Please also ensure your blood sugar is well controlled. If your back pain is persistent or worsening, get examined rather than assuming it is due to vitamin deficiency.

Hello, Hair fall, persistent fatigue, and back pain may be associated with iron deficiency, vitamin B12 or vitamin D deficiency, thyroid disorders, or poorly controlled diabetes. Since you have had diabetes since 2022, checking your blood sugar control is particularly important. A multivitamin may help if a nutritional deficiency exists, but it is unlikely to resolve all these symptoms without identifying the underlying cause. Your history of migraine also warrants assessment, especially if headaches are frequent or worsening.
Next Steps
Consult a general physician for clinical evaluation. Recommended investigations: CBC, serum ferritin, vitamin B12, TSH, HbA1c, kidney function tests, and vitamin D if clinically indicated. A standard once-daily multivitamin providing approximately 100% of recommended daily vitamin requirements may be considered, but targeted supplementation is preferable when a deficiency is confirmed. If you take metformin, vitamin B12 deficiency should be considered, particularly with long-term use. Maintain adequate protein intake, regular sleep, hydration, and appropriate diabetes management.
Health Tips
Avoid high-dose vitamin supplements, especially vitamin A, selenium, and vitamin B6, without medical advice, as excessive intake can be harmful. For migraines, maintain regular meals, adequate sleep, and a headache diary. Frequent attacks may require preventive treatment. Seek medical attention for sudden severe headache, weakness, visual disturbances, or back pain associated with leg weakness or bladder/bowel dysfunction. Identifying and treating the underlying cause is more beneficial than relying on multivitamins alone. Wishing you good health!

Hair fall together with low energy and migraines, especially alongside diabetes since 2022, usually points to an underlying deficiency rather than a generic multivitamin gap. Vitamin B12 often runs low with longstanding diabetes, and low vitamin D, iron or thyroid imbalance can all add to this pattern of fatigue and hair shedding.
Next Steps
Ask your doctor for a vitamin B12, vitamin D, ferritin and thyroid check before starting any supplement, so you treat what is actually low instead of guessing. Better sugar control usually helps the fatigue and hair fall too.
Health Tips
Please do not self-start a long-term multivitamin without these tests, since over-supplementing some of them causes its own problems. A physician or gynaecologist can review your levels and guide you.
