hello, as you have thyroid, your metabolic rate will be low, so its obvious that u will gain weight if your are not physically active and not in proper diet. so please avoid raw cruciferous veggies and take more low calorie food, and exercise for at least 40 -60 min a day. and consult a good dietitian for a diet plan suiting your body type and food habits.

Hi, thank you for your enquiry. Fat loss is a gradual process. There is no quick fix approach. Following a healthy diet which has optimal amounts of  first class proteins, reduced carbohydrates  & healthy fats along with a structured exercise program that is balanced with weight training and cardio will surely help. Thyroid imbalance will slow down the rate of fat loss, be consistent and patient. For personalised diet and exercise guidance please contact us.

Hi The main stay of treatment is first try to avoid excess physical strain to body and have adequate rest and relaxation. Avoiding cruciferous vegetables like cabbage, cauliflower, Roots and Tubers is very important.. White flour, white rice, white pasta etc.. As there would be weight gain always  in hypothyroidism so do include gourd family vegetables, fiber rich fruits,  unstrained fruit juices without sugar , size amount of nuts, seeds, whole grain cereals , moderate amount of protein , reduced fat etc.. For further details kindly contact over online consultation for a personalized diet plan Thankyou

Thank you for your query.Since thyroid dysfunction is a hormonal imbalance, the metabolic rate of the body slows down in such condition making it difficult for a person to lose weight. Nevertheless,if you get your thyroid tests repeated regularly & your dosage fixed through the endocrinologist, this coupled with a proper weight loss diet & some physical activity, you can easily shed those kgs. For a proper balanced diet chart,I would need a detailed information regarding your eating habits, food preferences, total medical history & lifestyle to name a few. Kindly contact me through practo app for the same.

Hi, Here are a few tips that will help you:- Exercise 40-45 minutes 4-5 times a week. Eat small frequent meals every 2 -3 hours Eat protein rich diet (especially post workout, it will help in building muscle) and improve metabolism. Eat proper breakfast, as 40% of day's energy comes from breakfast. Include healthy fat in your diet like nuts - almonds and walnuts, seeds like pumpkin, watermelon, sunflower seeds, etc. Eat fiber rich diet, it will help to gain early satiety and help you feel full - include fruits and vegetables in your diet avoid junk food, oily food, processed or canned foods.
