Thank you for sharing your concern. Based on your details (29 years, 5 feet, 44 kg, hypothyroidism on Thyroxine 37.5 mcg), your BMI is around 19, which is slightly on the lower side but not critically low. Since you have hypothyroidism, it’s important first to ensure your thyroid levels (TSH, T3, T4) are in the normal range with the current medication. Poorly controlled thyroid can affect both weight and energy. Tips to gain healthy weight naturally: 1. Frequent Balanced Meals – Eat 5–6 smaller meals instead of 2–3 large ones. 2. Add Calorie-Dense, Nutrient-Rich Foods Nuts, seeds, nut butters (almonds, walnuts, peanut butter). Milk, paneer, curd, cheese. Eggs, chicken, fish, dals, beans. Whole grains (oats, brown rice, chapati, quinoa).

Gaining healthy weight requires a balanced diet, proper thyroid care, and tailored lifestyle changes -Eat nutrient-dense, calorie-rich foods: Include healthy fats (nuts, seeds, avocado), complex carbohydrates (brown rice, whole wheat, millets), and quality proteins (eggs, dairy, legumes, lean meats) to support muscle and weight gain. -Make sure you at least have one protein source in each of your major meals which include sources like paneer, eggs, chicken, lentils daily. You can also have sattu as a sattu drink or sattu paratha in your meals. -Avoid sugary snacks and processed foods as they provide less nutrition and empty calories. -Practice regular exercise in form of strength training or resistance exercises which can help add muscle mass and help improve energy levels. -Stay hydrated (2- 2.5 litres of water) and ensure adequate sleep (7-8 hours) for better overall health.
