DOES EXPERIENCE OF DENTIST MATTER
Does work experience of a dentist matter for a better/smooth wisdom tooth extraction/surgery or observation of oral problems like tooth pain? May going ahead with a less experienced dentist pose a higher risk of  post-operative complications?

Would you prefer a skilled less experienced dr or An experienced dentist without the skill? Skill is more important. Though most experienced dentists are skilled. An oral surgeon would be the best. Either way every normal human body swells up post surgery as it is a sign of healing. How fast it heals depends on both your body and how atraumatic your extraction was( complexity of the impacted wisdom tooth) and how well your surgeon plans and removes it.

In which profession does the experience not matter???? But it is a balance between skill and experience which makes a difference and practically speaking, skill always has the upperhand, without undermining the importance of experience. There is a very famous saying---- knowledge and skill comes through books and wisdom comes through experience. If you are not in extremely unskilled hands, the post operative healing majorly depends upon your own body's reaction and healing capability. It will not be wrong to say that the postoperative complications are mainly because of negligence on the part of the patient to follow the instructions given by the operating surgeon meticulously. Regards.
