After your Cesarean section, this long-term pain is usually due to Vata imbalance, causing pain, stiffness, and flare-ups after work. Pain spreading to the legs and stitch area suggests nerve and tissue sensitivity. The focus should be on Vata shaman (oil, heat with hot water bag, and strengthening exercises) rather than relying only on supplements

Hello, The stitch line pain and leg pain suggest involvement of nerves and muscle weakness, not just simple vitamin deficiency—so multivitamins alone may not help much. Ayurveda can effectively help in this condition by: • Strengthening muscles and joints • Reducing nerve-related pain • Improving circulation in the lower back and pelvic region • Correcting underlying Vata imbalance What you can start: • Daily warm oil massage (Abhyanga) with sesame oil or medicated oil (like Dhanwantharam taila) on lower back and abdomen • Followed by mild hot water fomentation • Avoid excessive strain, long standing, and lifting heavy weights
Next Steps
• Share details like your delivery history, current weight, and daily activity pattern • Check Vitamin D and Calcium levels if not done recently
Health Tips
Do not ignore stitch line pain, especially if it is increasing—early management prevents chronic issues

During a C-section (cesarean delivery), anesthesia is commonly administered in the lower back, usually at the lumbar level (L3–L4 or L4–L5). In some cases, patients may experience: ▫️ Lower back discomfort ▫️ Radiating pain in the legs ▫️ Numbness or tingling sensations Ayurvedic Perspective: Such symptoms can be understood as an imbalance of Vata Dosha, affecting the nerves and musculoskeletal system. In certain cases, involvement of Rakta (blood tissue) may also be considered, resembling conditions described under Vata–Rakta.
