Back pain issue
I am taking ayurvedic medicine for stomach issues. However I am having back pain as well. Applied oil also but temporary relief. Can I take allopathy medicine. Is it safe to take painkiller of paracetamol for pain. Please suggest.

Paracetamol for occasional back pain is generally safe to take alongside your ayurvedic treatment for the stomach issue, since the two don't usually interact. Back pain that is only partly relieved by oil and has no tingling, numbness or weakness down your legs is most often muscular, not something serious.

Use a hot water bag along with light stretching and short walks rather than full bed rest. If your stomach issue needs ongoing ayurvedic medicine, let that doctor know about the back pain and the paracetamol too. See a general physician if the pain doesn't ease within a week.

Go in sooner if the pain spreads down one leg, or you notice numbness, weakness, or trouble controlling urine or stool.
