The Deccan Hospital, Somajiguda

Myself Mrs K. Anita from Humnabad - Karnataka. My mother was admitted in Deccan hospital Somajiguda under Dr Arun Kumar orthopaedic sergen, for her both knee replacement and one hip replacement and believe me we we're very scared that how we can handle her but thanks to Dr Arun sir he did not make her realise that her knees has been replaced. The way he and his team take care and make patients comfortable awesome. we got discharge from hospital once again sir thanks a lot for your special care.

I booked an appointment through Practo for Dr. Srinivas Deshmukh at 11:00 AM on 09 June 2026 for a 92-year-old patient.

Based on the appointment confirmation shown on Practo, we travelled approximately 26 km to reach the hospital. However, upon arrival, the hospital staff informed us that the doctor's OP consultations begin only at 2:30 PM, and that no patients are seen before that time.

This means the appointment slot displayed and confirmed on Practo was incorrect. To make matters worse, the hospital staff informed us that there was no bed or suitable place available for the elderly patient to wait until 2:30 PM.

It is extremely distressing and unacceptable for a 92-year-old patient to be made to undertake a long journey and then wait several hours because of incorrect information displayed on the Practo platform. Such scheduling inaccuracies can cause significant hardship, especially for senior citizens and medically vulnerable patients.

Kindly make the necessary changes on the website for such incidents not to reoccur.

I visited dr Arun Kumar for ankle pain. the gave me 1 week treatment and the pain has subsided I am very happy.

Doctor Srinivas Deshmukh sir is very experienced doctor treated me for seizures.He is very friendly and listen to the patient problem very patiently. He prescribs very limited dose of medicine according to patient problem and disorder.I have been visiting him since 7 yrs for epilepsy disorder and it’s normal and fine now. I am very much happy with his treatment.

I totally recommend this doctor.

He did knee surgery first my father and he is living a new life.I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ALL MY FRIENDS ,.HE GAVE LOTS OF CONFODENCE TO US

Pathetic service by the hospital and Dr.Arun Kumar... Strongly not recommended to visit this place ,be careful.

The doctor explained everything clearly and my overall experience was okay. There were no issues during the visit.

The doctor was good and gave helpful advice. However, I had an issue with the timing as I had to wait several hours for the appointment. Overall, I would rate the experience four out of five.
