Hoped for better: Doctor friendlinessTreatment satisfactionValue for moneyExplanation of the health issue
Rude Treatment and behavior towards patients.I went into his cabin for consultation, and asked for 10-15 minutes, time. Instantly, he replied, "I will give only 10 minutes time, and 5 minutes for me to speak to you. After 15 minutes you both will be out of my cabin."(my mother also accompanied me)
After listening to my problem, he started writing few tablets. I ask him very politely"Sir, are you prescribing tablets to me ?" Instantly,he replied" I am prescribing tablets, if you don't want, I will not prescribe." Such arrogant was his behavior towards me.
He prescribed blood tests which costed me INR 3000.00. He asked me to come after 10 days.
After 10 days, I visited him and told him that I have completed my 10 days course. I told him, there is no change in problem even after using medication for 10 days but I am feeling dizzy. He said" you cannot feel dizzy , you will feel sleepy".
He himself is telling my symptoms.
He asked if I got the blood test done. I said, "Yes."
He asked me if there is any abnormality,in the Blood Report.I did not know what to reply, I am a non medico person(I am mechanical engineer, he knows that). How will,I know the medical terms, in the report.
Again, he wrote the same tablets for 20 days.
I did not find any friendliness or politeness in his behavior. He was very rude.
Please avoid him. After taking INR 600.00, he does not give sufficient time to speak out our problems.
I am a mechanical engineer in Oil/ Gas / Petrochemical industry, with 13 years of experience in countries like UAE,Saudi Arabia ,Qatar, India.

From the Admin's Desk:
We have gone into the details after your feedback. It appears that Social media is used nowadays to unfairly troll popular personalities which has become a trend.
Coming to your grievance, all clients are aware of the duration and types of consultations (15 min), counseling(45min), therapy(60min) as per their choice before meeting the consultant. Once booked for that particular type, the consultant has no right to prolong the duration as it would be encroaching on another patient's time. Yes, if you wanted the consultant to listen to you completely, kindly book another appointment for counseling session for 45min or even 2 hours. This freedom is given to any client who thinks that sufficient time is required to address his problems. Kindly donot book 15min slot and accuse the doctor for giving less time. He is bound by time constraints by the management so that he can provide care to other waiting patients who have booked.
As per the tests, depending on your suffering, Thyroid(Known to cause depression), Vit. D( again implicated in depression) and Vit. B12(known to cause thought disturbances and depression, anxiety and other cognitive deficits) were prescribed as per protocol and guidelines of quality care delivery.
As for the medications, evry medication takes time to work and psychiatric mediations take few weeks to start working. Have patience. during this time, if you are facing sideeffects or intolerance, kindly contact the doctor. Every medication have sideeffects and positive effects. When positive effects are more, they are life saving and life changing medications. Psychiatrists do miracles. They not only save lives by preventing suicides, but also change a negative person to a positive person and enable him to hold a job, maintain marriage, take up responsibility of children and lead a decent societal life which no other profession does.
In your case, the doctor replied that since your wife is a doctor, he assumed, she would have explained the whole process of care and also you would have shown her the blood tests reports to her and taken her advice accordingly. But since there seems to be communication issues which was not disclosed to the consultant, so is the misunderstanding but it is not to undermine your qualifications or intelligence. Kindly have patience and trust in the medical profession and trust in the consultant towards a positive outcome. .
