Visited For Rheumatoid Arthritis Treatment

Three and a half years ago, Rheumatoid Arthritis made my wife petrified and desperate. My son searched for one of the best rheumatologists in Mumbai on Google and found Dr. Shashank Akerkar. Not only we were surprised by the improvements that started from the 3rd appointment, but we were also surprised to see that the doctor knew her pain level better than her (despite her exaggeration about the pain, even though it wasn’t like the others). Based on proper investigation, he started treatment immediately. His medication and advice benefited her and her normal life resumed and her health is now normal.

Dr. Akerkar is very punctual. The way he listens to the patient's problem is really appreciated. He advises the patients to perform only the necessary tests. His clinic is always crowded due to his excellent treatment.

He is an overall pleasant personality with ********* ********* *** commitment.

We think he is a great Rheumatologist and helps to overcome the disorder as soon as possible. We were so glad that we went to the right doctor and we would definitely recommend him to anyone with similar problems.

Suryaprakash Bhandari, *** ****** *** *** ** ****** ****** **My mother aged 80 is being treated by Dr. Bhandari as she has ERCP done in Gastrocare clinic, JN Road, MULUND.about 3 years back for Common Bile Duct blockage. We had visited best of the hospitals in Mumbai********** ****** ********* for the treatment. But it was by God's grace that we luckily came across Dr. Bhandari. Dr. Bhandari diagnosed the illness and swiftly carried out ERCP which saved her life and she has regained her health. Recently in early Fab. she got severe vomiting and stomach pain .So again we approached Dr. Bhandari and he diagnosed her of having Food pipe blockage and advised us to get her undergo immediate surgery. The surgery was successful and in 2 days my mother got rid of all her stomach related issues. Now, she is able to have her food comfortably. Despite the fact that we had a 2D echo report which was just 3 days old, she did another 2D echo and charged us 1000Rs extra for the 2d echo she did. I recently got admitted under dr.tejal shah care. I was suffering from on & off fever. Later diagnosed with....Her efforts towards my treatment & admission is unexplainable. I dont have words to thank u dr. Tejal. U are the angel send on earth by god to cure the patients. U hv healing hands. After my husband u saved my life. Her treatment is the best. I am taking his treatment for hypertension and powt COVID i was having chest pain so undergone angiography. Procedure was very quick and painless. He is available tor you thrugh mesg in emergency. It shows his caring nature towards his patient. My uncle john went to KEM hospital for angiography and was not getting Appontment i recommend him dr. I had undergone Laparoscopic hernia plasty under Dr.JITEN CHOWDRY who is very simple, patient friendly and a good listner. I got 50% relief after seeing his smile and personal attention after surgery on same day. SURGERY done on 8th Feb 21 and discharged on 9th Feb 21 afternoon. Post surgery care by Nurses, other staff at Godrej Memorial Hospital, Vikhroli was an exiting experience. Very clean, friendly house keeping staff & attentive TPA eased my stay comfortable. Again all praises to God and Dr.Jithen Chowdry and his exellent team. I reccommend Dr. Jiten Chowdry and Godrej Hospital as very safe in Covid Pandemic situation.

I was diagnosed with bilateral inguinal hernia and gallbladder polyps. I was so tensed when i came to know abt this diagnosis..This was my life’s first surgery which i have undergone..Me n my husband consulted 2/3 doctors for the opinion..in meanwhile i came across Dr jiten chowdhary from my office colleague n family friends.when i meet him i found him very cool,humble,jolly person..Hes very interactive n friendly.i asked him everything about surgery n what is the procedure n cleared all my doubts..after that i felt yes now I am in right hands for surgery..My surgery was done well..i got discharge within 2days with proper balanced diet. Within 2weeks i was normal..walking n eating properly. Whenever i was facing diffculties after surgery doctor was reachable on phone n wtsup..so will alwzz recommend him ** * ******* *** *** ** *** **** ****** ***** * **** **** ****..thank you doctor for everything

At first session only Dr. Vyavahare suggested it needs to be done a circumcision but still he took time so that I don't have to directly go through the surgery and finally when after 3 sessions doctor confirmed it is most required surgery then I went through knife for circumcision and my actual problem of skin sorted.

And all through these sessions Dr.vyavahare was very supportive and polite and always helpful plus he even helped me to understand my problem is also with ED related so he suggested another doctor for my ED related issues and I am still undergoing to that doctor for ED treatment.

Dr. Amjad might be clinically proficient but his attention towards patients is not at all friendly and cooperative. CKD / Dialysis patients are already weak in their body and mind, and the last thing they need is a specialist medical practitioner turning a blind eye towards them and always being in a hurry to be somewhere else.

If this were 1 or 2 instances, I'd have let this go. The fact that it has happened multiple times, where either Dr. Pathan has been least interested to talk to an OPD patient or he has been distracted in other things (phone, etc) while talking to the CKD patient, shows that going that extra mile in making a patient feel comfortable and at home is clearly missing.

I'd like to take this opportunity to reach out to Dr. Pathan and ask him to be a little more considerate towards his patients, give a little attention, time, and care (or at least show that he cares). I understand Nephrologists can be busy and have a tight schedule, but the 'don't care' attitude hurts, so much that the patient doesn't want to consult with him anymore as he seems to be 'least interested'.

My dad went for treatment through him 5 years ago and he recovered from the ailment.

Everytime he is reachable and reverts on the questions even if its matter of few years back. Down to Earth and intellectual Dr who advices more and makes you understand the cause well which feels you more comfortable to proceed with the treatment.
