I went to consult for my dad he is a type 2 diabetic patient. For the first time ever I have seen an endocrinologist say it’s ok to eat everything to a patient and can have 1 litre milk and half litre curd a day . Just fix the insulin pump whenever you are ready it will sort out the problem. I always thought diabetes is a lifestyle disease and this doctor made me feel it’s just insulin regulation and no diet required . The package would have costed 1.5 lakh that includes insulin pump rent for 7days and folllw up consultations for 3 months. From the time we entered the hospital, they took a longer route before sending us to the main doctor . They sent us for test which were done recently at other hospital but was asked to repeat it . Once we met the doctor he was least bothered about anything else other than insulin pump . So if one doesn’t want to get a pump then is there no way to control diabetes is my question. I wish more people know about them and their practice Doctor never went through the reports either or even gave any medicines . He wanted to prescribe injections for weight loss other than that no other interest shown in the patient . My experience with Dr. Ravi Kumar's practice was a mixed bag. While the doctor ultimately provided a diagnosis and treatment plan, the process to get there was lengthy, inefficient, and raised some concerns.The Process:Getting care here is a multi-day commitment. * Day 1: Primarily involves interacting with staff for history taking and being directed to their diagnostic center for tests, even if you have recent results for the issue you're visiting for. * Day 2: Dedicated to sample collection and testing at their facility. * Day 3: This involved a long wait (around 2-3 hours total) for a consultation, first with a junior doctor for a more detailed history based on test results (and suggestions for more tests), followed by a very brief (approx. 10 minutes) initial meeting with Dr. Ravi Kumar himself. * Final Day: Another appointment, this time involving a 2-hour wait for the main consultation with Dr. Ravi Kumar, which lasted about 20-25 minutes. I had visited the doc for my thyroid issue (I recently got diagnosed with TSH count at .01 uLU/ml). However I didn't had any physical problems associated with thyroid. So I went to have his opinion. I reported at 9:30, one junior doc has first screened my reports and suggested further investigations like ultrasound, scanning and other blood test. The reports were ready by 12 and I was allowed to meet. Dr. Ravi Kumar, and he without even explaining my health issue has recommended surgery as if he is cutting a piece of cake. When I asked is there any alternative. He said you have to come every month and undergo the same test. Then we will advise you medicines and this goes on month after month and he left without caring to listen to my apprehensions and his assistant doctor has typed some medication and left with the doctor without even explaining the situation.i visited without any health issue just to take his opinion. But he suggested surgery which is very shocking and he has no time to sit with his patients and explain the situation. This is very horrible, thank you

We have consulted Dr.Ravi after my father was diagnosed with Diabetes with levels (FBS - 173 and PLBS - 238) and 9.3% HbA1c. Support from the staff is good and yes as others mentioned in their reviews lady in the reception is too rude . ********* ********** ** ****** *** ** ********* **** within 5 days of usage levels came down to 106 and 166.

cons:

- Doctor didn't speak patiently (In the initial days he should speak patiently as that boosts the morale of the patient)

- No drinking water provided in the cellar

- No sanitizer stand

- Video calls /audio calls/ virtual admission is suggested for every one due to covid , that might not be satisfactory for all

- only 10% discount is given in the pharmacy despite the high cost(other pharmacy give 20% for above 1000)

pros:

- Lab reports are given within 2 hrs of time (best of all labs)

- Diet chart is provided

- Proper guidance is given by sisters and staff

- Doctor review in the last for everyone(though it is only for 10minutes)

Doctor Ravi Kumar is very professional guy but his hospital management team tell you take all kind of tests and even tests are not accurate ... I took my father and did all type of tests and after reports are received doctor mentioned my father right eye has problem and he cannot even see anything but actually my father can clearly see and read even newspaper.... I think the test conducted in his hospital are not at all accurate... so please be cautious... but Doctor is very nice person and I like the way he analyzes the issues

I visited Dr Ravi for Thyroid consultation. I am hypothyroid for the last 10 years and on medication since then. I had been consulted many Endo-physicians since then in Hyderabad, Mumbai and Kolkata. Recently, I observed my TSH level was unusually high and my weight was also increasing. I got to know about this doctor through a friend of mine who consulted him for a similar problem. I met Dr Ravi, and he ran some tests, including USG with thorough examination. He is very gentle and friendly. He gives sufficient time to each patient for examination and consultation, that is why I feel that waiting period is also somewhat more in this clinic. Again, that's a positive thing for patient though. Through his prescription, my TSH level, which was at >100 came down to 1.18 (Range: 0.70 - 1.48 ng/dl). I felt better with his treatment and I started maintaining my weight. I thank him for his excellent consultation and prescription.

Treatment is costly and a common man can't effort the treatment. Consultation 1000/- . I consulted doctor for first time sugar detected. Total amount I spent including tests and medicine is 25000/-. Doctor prescribed two injections 1. Iron injections -5 and 2. B-12 injections -4. Iron injection costing each -3000/-. After purchasing injections I approached hospital for getting the injections , I suprised to listen from the hospital staff that bed charges 300/-,other charges they demanded 400/- for giving iron injection. Every thing costs more in this hospital. Common man can't visit or effort the treatment in this hospital.

Very bad experience this time from AED hospital and the doctor. I have been consulting for some years but this time it is very reckless treatment. The doctor didn't even see the reports ******** and wrote a prescription with 3 insulin doses. When I checked and asked, they went to the doctor and got it to strike off. Wrote another tablet of Livogen when I asked the nurse again she went to doctor and got that striked off. i went here for my father diabetic checkup, they wrote total seven tests along with 3 months avg blood sugar it cost around 5 thousand rupees, after the reports seen by Dr Ravi he asked my father to admit immediately to hospital I asked him to write tablets for his diabetic problem, he denied to write prescription always says admit your father admit your father to hospital. we just went for diabetic checkup. I don't recommend this hospital very bad experience. after paying around 7k doctor not written prescription for tablets.* **** ** ** ******* ******* ********* **** *********, this is not the good approch to deny write tablets/prescription after paying 7k. Spending Money here will loose time *** *******
