Insomnia or lack of sleep is a common disorder any age is facing nowadays.

CAUSES OF INSOMNIA

  1. It is mainly due to mental disturbances.
  2. Any type of body pain,uncomfortable weather or surroundings,some disease.
  3. History of Improper digestion,constipation and habits of eating irregularly.

CAUSES FOR CHRONIC INSOMNIA

  1. Medical problems like asthma, allergies,Parkinson's disease,hyperthyroidism,kidney disease,cancer and any type of chronic pain.

TREATMENT FOR INSOMNIA

  1. Do regular exercise but not late in the evening.
  2. Avoid taking naps during the day.
  3. Avoid caffeine in all forms especially after lunch time.
  4. Drink one glass of warm buffalo milk with honey in it. As buffalo milk is rich in amino acids.
  5. Have a nice, long warm water bath before bed time.
  6. Avoid distractions in your bedroom.
  7. Set your daily routine.
  8. Avoid spicily and sugary food items.
  9. Read a good positive book before you sleep.
  10. Relax your mind and no electronic gadgets in your bedroom.
