The Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) is a 549-bed NABH-accredited government super-speciality hospital at D-1, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi 110070, near Chhatarpur Metro Station. Established in 2009 by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, it is a mono-super-speciality institute for liver, biliary and pancreatic disease.Of its 549-bed capacity, over 300 beds are operational. The institute has four operation theatres, a 24-hour emergency department, a blood bank, a pathology laboratory and a radiology centre, with MRI, CT and coronary angiography on site. Clinical work centres on hepatology, gastroenterology and gastrointestinal surgery, liver and kidney transplantation and interventional radiology, supported by nephrology and renal pathology, critical care and anaesthesiology, cardiology, urology, oncology, laboratory and molecular pathology, blood banking and transfusion medicine, pulmonary infection medicine and emergency medicine. It is also a research centre in hepatology and organ transplantation, and performs minimally invasive procedures.Outpatient timings are 09:00 to 18:00. Registration fee: Rs 20.
