I visited Dr. Maheshwari in 2018 for my right knee pain treatment, when I was 65 years old. He advised me to go for a Partial Knee replacement. In simple terms - The knee has 3 parts - Inner, Outer, and Cap. If one part is replaced then It is called Partial Replacement (UKT). I was apprehensive so visited a couple of renowned doctors in Gurgaon, who suggested Total Knee Replacement(TKT). Dr. Maheshwari's suggestion was that if 2 parts of your knee are ok then why replace it? Took a chance and got my Partial Knee Replacement done in 2018 when he was at Max Saket. In the last 5 years, my right knee has worked well - Did lots of trekking in the Mountains.

This year my Left knee started giving me trouble while trekking in the Himalayas.

Decided to go back to him in April. The team - Dr. Maheshwari, Dr. Ahmed, Dr. Nitin, and Pramila has now moved to Sita Ram Bhartia. Again his suggestion was to go for Partial Knee Replacement of the Left knee. Got operated on 2nd May, Discharged from Hospital on 4th May, and walked to my car with little assistance from my wife.

After 3 Weeks of operation, I am walking without any assistance and not taking any pain killer- the beauty of Partial Replacement.

I met Dr. Vikram for my torn ACL and meniscus. He had explained the problem and solution very well. He advised to go for arthroscopic surgery for ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair to avoid any issue in the future. I was too much worried about my problem but he is so humble and explained the entire surgical process in detail and assured me and my family not to worry and my knee will be as it was earlier before the injury.

I was recommended by my uncle who is a Doctor and that’s why I came from Bangalore to Delhi to consult him and he is so nice that he could see me at a short notice without any prior appointment. He is really an expert in his area and I knew that I was in a safe hand for my surgery. It is 7 weeks post my surgery now and I can walk like a normal person without any problem.

He is so kind, calm, humble and good human being and always available for his patients. He listens very patiently and responds to all the queries quickly even on what's app. During my 7 weeks post-surgery, I have contacted him many times and always he responded timely and guided me.

As a fellow professional I knew Dr. Maheshwari for over two decades. For long I’ve come to admire his professional opinion. This was the first time I saw him as a patient. He was punctual to the dot. He did a thorough physical examination after a detailed history taking. After perusing the investigations and the lab reports he gave an unambiguous opinion.
