Hello sir... Wisdom teeth is one that fails to erupt inits normal position in the given period of time... CONSEQUENCE OF WISDOM TEETH: **pericoronitks(gum selling) ** Difficulty in opening the mouth **Soreness of jaw **bad breathe ** Gum bleeding ** Cyst formation As you mentioned you have gum swelling, it is necassary to remove your wisdom teeth because the gum swelling is recurrent and it ll come again and again if you leave as it is.....and a normal pain killers and antibiotics wont give a permanent relief... wisdom teeth is only an extra teeth and it is not used for chewing purpose and for eating

It is always better to get it removed Donot panic. Don't be afraid. It will not cause pain as it is done under anesthesia but u might experience discomfort for 2-3 days. Remove the tooth that has problem now. Others can be treated when they become symptomatic. It will not be of any problem if the extraction is done atraumatically. Don't be scared ....go for it and get it done asap.
Next Steps
visit a nearby dentist. prefer a maxillofacial surgeon

The swelling is majorly bcoz of food lodgement in the partially erupted wisdom tooth region. Wisdom tooth is called impacted when it has no place in the mouth to erupt and is blocked by bone, gums or adjacent teeth. The best solution at this point is to remove it. Trying to retain it would cause more problems in the future which can affect the next tooth as well..
Next Steps
Get the painful wisdom tooth removed and the opposing wisdom tooth as well, bcoz opposing tooth will start erupting downwards and coz swelling of opposing gums in future. So instead of getting all this procedure done again better to get it removed together.
Health Tips
Take warm saline water rinse. Avoid spicy and hard food!

If the tooth is impacted then it is better to remove it. You can remove one now and others later or you can choose to remove all of them. It depends on the clinical condition and X-rays. Only then you can be advised properly. Removal if done properly will not cause any other problem
