Hello. I understand your concern. However there is no picture attached with the complain. I would suggest to visit nearby dentist and get it clinically checked, as just trauma from scratch while eating might not be so painful . If it is just a traumatic ulcer it will heal by 7 days if not it might be anything and needs clinical correlation.

If the swelling developed after a scratch or minor trauma while eating, it may represent a localized traumatic ulcer or inflamed gum tissue. Such lesions usually begin to improve within 5–7 days and generally heal completely within 1–2 weeks, provided there is no secondary infection.
Next Steps
In the meantime:
• Maintain good oral hygiene.
• Rinse with warm saline water 3–4 times daily.
• Avoid spicy, hot, acidic, and hard foods.
• Stay well hydrated.
• Avoid repeatedly touching or checking the area.
Health Tips
since you mention a feeling of fever and require painkillers for relief, an underlying dental or gum infection cannot be ruled out. If the swelling increases, pus develops, fever occurs, pain becomes severe, or there is no improvement within a few days, please visit a dentist for a clinical examination.

This occurs due to eating hot and spicy food which leads to scratch on the tissue
