Healthy morning,
If you have PCOD , lifestyle measures like changing your diet and physical activity routine may help you reach and maintain a moderate weight .
1. Reduce carb intake :
Decreasing carbs consumption may help manage PCOD due to its impact on insulin levels.
2 Get plenty of fiber:
As fiber helps you stay full after meal , a high fiber diet may help or promote weight loss in PCOD
3. Eat enough protein:
Protein helps stabilise blood sugar and increases feeling of fullness after a meal
4. Eat healthy fats :
Having plenty of healthy fats in your diet may help you feel more satisfied after meal and tackle weight loss and other symptoms of PCOD.
5. Eat fermented foods :
Healthy gut bacteria may play a role in metabolism and weight loss .
6. Limit processed foods and added sugar
Another tip to weight loss with PCOD is cut down on your intake of less nutritious foods
Processed foods and added sugars may raise blood sugar levels and increase your risk of insulin resistance, which is linked to obesity
7. Exercise regularly:
Exercise is well known strategy for increasing weight loss
8.Get enough sleep:
Sleep as central to overall health.
9. Manage your stress :
Stress can be risk factors for weight gain. This means reducing stress levels may help you manage your weight.
Health Tips
In PCOD can make difficult to lose weight
A balanced, nutritious diet that is low inflammatory foods- such as processed and refined carb, rich in whole foods, protein, healthy fats, fiber may aid weight loss
It’s also considered lifestyle factors . Regular exercise, stress management, and sleep are all important when it comes to healthy weight loss .
Please share details of your current diet plan to rule out deficiencies in terms of vitamins & minerals, pre& probiotics depending on your current activity
This can be assessed & based on which a diet prescription canbe made.

Given your current weight of 60 kg and height of 5.5 feet (approximately 167.64 cm), let's determine if weight loss is necessary by calculating your Body Mass Index (BMI).
BMI Calculation: According to the BMI categories, you fall within the normal weight range (18.5â24.9). Therefore, you do not need to lose weight based on your BMI alone.
Key Considerations
1. Focus on Balanced Nutrition: Weight loss should not be your primary goal. Itâs more important to focus on eating a balanced, nutrient-rich diet. Make sure your diet includes adequate vitamins, minerals, proteins, and other essential nutrients.
2. Caloric Deficit and PCOD: Many gym trainers and dieticians suggest creating a caloric deficit for weight loss. However, this approach is not ideal for PCOD (Polycystic Ovary Disease). A strict caloric deficit can lead to muscle loss, especially if combined with intense exercise.
3. Prevention of Muscle Loss: Significant calorie reduction can cause muscle loss, particularly if you are vegetarian and may not be getting enough protein. Focus on the quality and nutritional value of your food rather than just reducing calorie intake.
4. Emphasis on Fat Loss: The goal should be fat loss, not just weight loss. Fat loss improves overall health and body composition, while weight loss can sometimes mean losing muscle instead of fat.
5. Correct Techniques: Itâs essential to use correct dietary and exercise techniques rather than focusing solely on the scale. Sustainable lifestyle changes are more beneficial than quick, short-term weight loss strategies.
6. Realistic Expectations: Your weight gain did not happen overnight, and weight loss should be approached with the same patience. Set realistic and achievable goals, allowing your body to gradually adapt to changes.
Recommendations
Given your current weight and height, you should focus on maintaining a healthy lifestyle rather than losing weight. Hereâs what I recommend: 1. Adopt a balanced, nutrient-dense diet. 2. Avoid drastic calorie reduction. 3. Incorporate regular physical activity, including strength training, to preserve muscle mass. 4. Prioritize fat loss over weight loss for overall health benefits.

Good morning!
With hormonal changes losing weight can be difficult. 1 kg weight loss would be good if you notice other changes like better energy levels, good sleep. Are you eating to meet your training needs? A trainer is not qualified to give a diet plan. Please talk to a nutritionist to guide you.
Check your portion sizes. Please do a basic blood test, look for nutrient deficiencies and insulin resistance. This could slow down weight loss.
Hello , Losing weight is challenging with PCOD & PCOS, but not impossible. It may take you longer to lose weight. Please try seed cycling , increase protien intake , add fiber rich food to your diet , consume drinks to increase metabolism , avoid carbs and fat foods & proccesses food. Please consult directly.
Please focus on cardio and ab exercises only
Stop having rice, atta, maida, sugar, banana, whole milk, milk tea, milk coffee.
Have 2 tsf chia seeds soaked water in the morning 1 glass.
May have dahlia or Barnyard millet for lunch
Avoid any cereal for dinner.
Please share what you are eating .
Are you losing any inches ? Sometimes before weight starts to reduce , one tends to lose inches .
I’m hoping your trainer is qualified to prescribe diet , since many patients end up facing micronutrient deficiencies and gut issues post following fad diets.
Try cutting down carbs for just dinner for a wk to see if anything changes
Hi,
need to check where you stuck, it might be your lifestyle, your diet, or any other parameters. And a trainer is not qualified to prescribe you any diet, consult with a Dietician.
