Yes, you can take your vitamin B-12 supplement and Augmentin in the same course  there is no direct interaction between the two. But the important point is this: throat infections often flare up when the body is already under stress, and low B-12 can sometimes affect energy, immunity, and recovery. So instead of only checking the compatibility, the goal should be to ensure that: your B-12 levels are actually improving your infection is settling as expected there are no underlying deficiencies or triggers delaying recovery Sometimes patients take supplements for weeks but don’t absorb them well, and symptoms keep coming back. That’s why a quick review of your routine, timing of medicines, diet pattern, and any side-effects is important. If you want, you can message me privately and I’ll guide you step-by-step on how to take everything correctly and what to monitor over the next few days. Yes, it is completely safe. You can continue Matilda Forte (Vitamin B12 + Folic acid + B6) together with Augmentin 1 g. There is no interaction between these two medicines.
Next Steps
Why it is safe • Augmentin (amoxicillin + clavulanic acid) is an antibiotic. • Matilda Forte is a vitamin supplement. • They act on different pathways and do not reduce each other’s effect. • Even when taken at the same time, they do not cause any harmful reaction.
Health Tips
Just one note: Both Augmentin and Matilda Forte can sometimes cause: • Mild stomach upset • Loose stools This is normal and temporary. If the antibiotic causes acidity, you may take it right after a meal.
