Vitamin D and B12
Hey Doctor, I got my full body blood tests done. Most of the things are in order and normal range but the Vitamin D is at 6 and vitamin b12 is at 160. I don't have most of the side effects which are part of less vitamins. But I want to make sure and fix thses. Any suggestions will help. Thanks a lot.

hi, most of indians are deficient in vit D as we have ample sunlight but we cover ourself to protect from sunlight rather than exposed to it ,morning sunlight is better for vit d and if medicine required then take vit d 60000 iu once week for 8 weeks not daily , also for vit b12 if u are non vegetarian then increase non veg consumption and if not then milk and veg green are to be taken u hv to check for aneamia and severe deficiency can lead to balance abnormality take vit b12 inj if symptoms of aneamia and balance are there, otherwise take tb.cobadex czs once day for 2-3 months , and with vit d u need to take calcium supplement also

Hello there. I can understand your concern. You need to get enough sun exposure daily. Eat a lot of greens, fruits and vegetables daily. Tab. D3 must 60k once a day after food for 12 weeks. Tab. Neurobion forte once a day after food for a month. Tab. Supracal pro once a day after food for a month. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain. Bangalore.
