ooth pain can have various causes, and it's important to consult a dentist for a proper examination and diagnosis. Some possible reasons for tooth pain on the right side could include: Tooth Decay: Even if you can't see a cavity, there may still be tooth decay or damage beneath the surface of the tooth, causing pain. Gum Disease: Infections or inflammation of the gums can lead to tooth sensitivity or pain. Cracked or Fractured Tooth: A cracked or fractured tooth can cause pain when pressure is applied during biting or chewing. Dental Abscess: An abscessed tooth can cause severe pain and swelling and requires immediate dental attention. Bruxism: Teeth grinding or clenching can lead to tooth pain and sensitivity. Sinus Infection: Sometimes, a sinus infection can cause referred pain to the upper teeth, leading to discomfort. Sensitivity: Tooth sensitivity to hot, cold, sweet, or acidic foods and drinks can cause pain. As you can see, there are multiple potential causes for tooth pain, and the best course of action is to visit a dentist for a thorough evaluation. The dentist will examine your teeth, take X-rays if necessary, and diagnose the underlying issue. Once the cause of the pain is identified, the dentist can recommend the appropriate treatment or remedies. In the meantime, you can try some home remedies to alleviate mild tooth pain: Maintain Good Oral Hygiene: Brush your teeth twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste and floss daily to keep your teeth and gums healthy. Saltwater Rinse: Gently rinse your mouth with warm saltwater to reduce inflammation and kill bacteria. Avoid Trigger Foods: If certain foods or drinks worsen the pain, try to avoid them until you can see a dentist. Over-the-Counter Pain Relievers: Over-the-counter pain medications can provide temporary relief from tooth pain. Follow the recommended dosage and consult a healthcare professional if you have any medical conditions or are taking other medications. Remember, these remedies are not a substitute for professional dental care. If your tooth pain persists or worsens, it's essential to see a dentist as soon as possible to address the underlying issue and prevent further complications.

You may not be able to see cavities of your teeth even though they may be seriously carious. The proximal areas (adjoining areas of teeth) of teeth when become carious will not be visible to the eyes. You need to get X-ray done to know the offending tooth in the painful area. If the caries is encroaching the pulpal tissue of the tooth, you are in need of an RCT then. So, please seek professional advice by visiting a dentist physically. Good luck :)
Next Steps
Visit an endodontist.
Health Tips
Take painkillers to relieve the pain.

Hi, Please visit a dentist and get an X-Ray of the tooth you are experiencing the pain and share the report. It could be a decay that is not visible to you.
