Thanks for sharing pic! Upper left premolar appears to be erupting with flabby gum around ,which may have caused pain &bleeding due to friction whilst eating hard cookie. There is no emergency but visiting a dentist for clinical examination is advised .

Hello. Based on your description, the bleeding was most likely due to a minor injury to the gums while biting the hard cookie. Since the bleeding has already stopped, it is generally not an emergency. Ask your child to: * Avoid hard, crunchy, or spicy foods for the next 24–48 hours. * Maintain good oral hygiene and rinse gently with lukewarm salt water (if your child can rinse without swallowing). * If there is pain, a children’s dose of paracetamol may be given as advised by your pediatrician. However, I recommend getting the child examined by a pediatric dentist within the next 24 hours to rule out any tooth fracture, mobility, or injury to the supporting tissues that may not be visible in the photograph.
Next Steps
Seek urgent dental care if you notice any of the following: * Persistent or heavy bleeding * A loose or displaced tooth * Swelling of the face or gums * Severe pain that does not improve * Difficulty biting or closing the teeth together normally

Hello. I understand your concern, but don't worry; there is no emergency as such. It may happen due to a soft tissue injury, or, as I can visualise, the permanent tooth is erupting there, so the milk tooth may be mobile, which may cause pain while eating/biting and bleeding as well.
Next Steps
You can temporarily give the kid painkillers such as Combiflam syrup and ask him/her not to chew on that side, and visit a dentist for further diagnosis and treatment.
