I have been experiencing sleep problems for the past 10 years, which means I don't fall asleep immediately. But from the last 2-3 week I am unable to sleep at all at night. As morning approaches, I get a little sleep. After sleeping for two to three hours, I wake up, but I remain lying in bed. This has led to a change in my eating and drinking schedule. What should I do? Please advise.

Persistent sleep issues impact overall well-being. Establish a consistent sleep routine: go to bed and wake up at the same time daily. Create a relaxing pre-sleep routine, limit caffeine, and screen time before bedtime. If problems persist, consult a psychologist to explore underlying causes and develop tailored strategies for better sleep hygiene and overall mental health.
Hi
Thanks for reaching out. You have been having sleep problems since past ten years. You have not been able to sleep well at night since past two to three weeks. Consult a psychologist and explain about your sleep pattern. With a psychologist you can explain about your lifestyle and work schedule.
I suggest consulting a psychologist and explain about your sleep schedule in detail. A psychologist would like to know what is the cause of sleep deprivation since the past ten years. Talking to a psychologist will help you feel better. A psychologist will also guide you on how you can make changes to your lifestyle that will enable you to sleep well.
Next Steps
Consult a psychologist.
