I haven't been able to sleep since about 4.5 months. Initially, if I used to go to bed at 1 o'clock, I used to fall asleep by 3.4 o'clock, but now by 6.7 o'clock I am not able to sleep.
I also consulted a doctor and he gave me sleeping medicine so that I can sleep even after taking the tablet or not eating, I have to struggle a lot to sleep.

Hi
Thanks for reaching out. Your concern is you are not able to sleep well and this has been happening since four and a half months. It is important to determine the cause of feeling sleep deprived. Lack of sleep can be caused by stress and anxiety, the amount of caffeine consumed and so on. Consult a psychologist and explain about what could be the possible reasons for not getting enough sleep. With a psychologist you can explain about your daily scheduled and lifestyle. With the help of a psychologist you can gradually work on how you can sleep better at night.
Next Steps
Consult a psychologist.

Hi, It sounds like you are going through a lot since 4.5 months. There can be various underlying causes related to difficulty in falling asleep and the quality of sleep. As you mentioned even previously the Sleep latency (time an Individual takes to fall asleep) was more than 2 hours. Kindly try answering the following questions in order to get a better insight : 1. Do you find your mind racing while you try to fall asleep. 2. Do you feel emotionally overwhelmed while you try to fall asleep 3.Are there any bodily sensations you feel during night ex: palpitations, shivers, pain in body, stiffness or any other uncomfortness. If you are able to answer any of them as ''yes'' there is a possibility you might be suffering from Anxiety or Stress.
