Dear friend, your Acl tear is non significant if you do not have symptoms of instability.please get assessment by a knee surgeon for concomitant meniscus or chondral injury.regards dr pankaj Agrawal Shoulder Knee & joints reconstruction surgeon Ahmedabad
Isolated ACL tears are not quite painful unless there is concomitant injury to other structures. Immobilise the knee with brace or plaster, take painkillers as advised reduce pain and swelling till required
Hello there.... have you done MRI of your knees? Well if it is only a partial tear of the ACL it can be managed without surgical intervention....you can visit any musculoskeletal physiotherapist who is well versed with ACL rehab protocol...however your pain needs to be at a minimum level before starting any exercises for ACL tear....i hope you have consulted an orthopaedic surgeon regarding this as well.
Regards & take care.
apply ice packs immediately , your physician may prescribe you with NSAIDS and PAin suppressants. the for ACL TEAR give some rest to ACL AND AVOID uneven surfaces to walk/run onto. Continue your strengthening exercises of quadriceps .
continue with therapy session and contact general physician to prescribe you pain suppressants.
do not dance / twist your knee or try to walk on uneven surfaces. RESpect pain and STAY HEALTHY
