Question about oats
What type of oats is best to eat? Should I buy Quaker or some other brand? Steel-cut or rolled oats? I'm confused. Please advise. Kindly do not suggest for personal consultation.

Firstly oats is not our traditional food, it was used as a good meal for horses in North Easter highlands like uttarakhand and himachal. Please stick to your traditional Indian breakfast. The oats we get in India are processed and broken mixed with other flours   and not complete pressed grain that u typically get abroad. When u cook this broken powder like stuff to a thick sticky paste this is least palatable food for Indian tongue so u now get all types of Indian flavours in oats. Please eat grains of crop that are naturally grown in your areas. Oats olives and kiwi fruits are making Gr8 market and spoiling health and mind of many of us. Hope u get my point :)
Next Steps
Eat ragi, bajra, jowar, grains soaked overnight, grind it to a coarse texture and now cook with u r favourite dal and make a khichri with ur choice of herbs spices and ghee.
Health Tips
Too much fiber blocks nutrient absorption specially coming from oaits, use plenty of fresh fruits and vegetable and greens in u r cooking to add healthy soft soluble fiber which I'd good for the gut and gentle at the same time.
