This does not work like this. We need to know medical history, gut health, possible allergies and much more.
If he's on a liquid diet give him soups, dal, khichdi, daliya. You also need to keep your father happy emotionally. You really need to ask personally for this case. Your father is in critical condition and is recovering from a fatal disease not someone who wants to lose weight for the marriage.
