Can taking whey protein cause acne in women with acne prone skin, high testosterone and pcos? Is plant protein a good alternative or will it cause the same flare up?

In normal Protein supplements are not required and requirements of protein can be managed through proper balanced diet. Certain individuals who is in sports may require nutrional supplements depend on the type of sports. There is no supporting scientific evidence that flare up acne etc due to whey protein supplements . Do consultation to know your medical and Nutrition history to understand your problem.

Go for normal home made food source of protein .like - paneer, spinach, peas etc. if any doctor prescribed you for whey protein then there must be a medical reason . Then you have to first mention it. If not then eat normal protein sources.dont go for any supplement

Healthy morning People with milk allergy or sensitivity should not use whey protein. It can cause allergies reaction. We recommend including protein sources at each meal and snacks throughout the day to support hormonal controls. Animal protein sources, including poultry, beef , fish and dairy add in diet .

Natural protein directly from food is best unless you have an absorption issue diagnosed by medical tests and a doctor. Stick to normal and natural sources of proteins . Both sources are good depending upon a persons requirements or increased nutritional needs
