Hi, these days there are plenty of protein powders available in the market claiming to be designed for the needs of women, addressing PCOS (Inositol), improved gut health, metabolism, hair and skin. But if I flip the pack to see ingredients, they tell a different story.
Is there any Protein powder that really support these many needs of women with minimal to no side-effects?

-It is important to read the nutrition label carefully - choose powders with a short ingredient list, a clear protein source (such as whey isolate, pea, or hemp), minimal or no added sugars, and without artificial colors or preservatives.
-For PCOS, diet and lifestyle changes are far more impactful than relying on just supplements. A balanced diet rich in whole grains, lean proteins, healthy fats, fruits, and vegetables, combined with regular exercise, helps manage symptoms, improve insulin sensitivity, and support overall health.
-Protein powders can be a convenient addition if you struggle to meet protein needs, but are not a necessity.
-Homemade protein powders are a safe option—blend roasted nuts or makhana, seeds (like pumpkin, sunflower, flax), and pulses for a preservative-free, customizable mix. You can add 1 tsp of cocoa powder for that flavor as well.

Hi
Great question! You don't need a protein powder, unless you are training moderately. If you really need one, you can try a whey protein or plant based protein.
