Magnesium is an essential mineral involved in numerous bodily functions, including muscle and nerve function, blood sugar control, and bone health. To overcome magnesium deficiency, you can include magnesium-rich foods in your diet. Here are some good food sources of magnesium: ### Leafy Greens - Spinach - Kale - Swiss chard ### Nuts and Seeds - Almonds - Cashews - Pumpkin seeds - Sunflower seeds ### Whole Grains - Brown rice - Quinoa - Oats - Barley ### Legumes - Black beans - Chickpeas - Lentils - Soybeans ### Vegetables - Broccoli - Brussels sprouts - Avocado ### Fruits - Bananas - Figs - Raspberries ### Fish - Salmon - Mackerel - Halibut ### Dairy - Yogurt - Milk ### Dark Chocolate - Preferably with 70% cocoa or higher Incorporating these foods into your daily meals can help boost your magnesium intake and address deficiencies. If you suspect a severe deficiency, it is advisable to consult a healthcare provider for personalized recommendations and potential supplementation.
