Hello, Thank you for reaching out. Loose motions persisting for 4 days, even with proper hydration and light food intake, require detailed evaluation to determine the cause. Since you are feeling well overall and not experiencing symptoms like vomiting or weakness, it is less likely to be severe dehydration or an acute infection. You can consider the following steps for now: 1. Continue ORS (oral rehydration solution) to maintain electrolyte balance. 2. Include curd or buttermilk in your diet as probiotics may help restore gut flora. 3. Avoid spicy, oily, and high-fiber foods temporarily. 4. Over-the-counter medications like loperamide should be avoided unless advised by a doctor. If symptoms persist or worsen, you may need further investigations to rule out causes like infections, irritable bowel syndrome, or malabsorption issues. Please consult me directly for a personalized evaluation and treatment plan. Feel free to reach out via WhatsApp at eight zero zero nine eight two one three three two for detailed guidance. Take care.

Hi Ma'am, A 4 day loose motion usually rules out a food poisoning cause. This usually might point to an infection of the GIT tract. Since we aren't supposed to write medicine in the Q&A, why dont we set up a chat session where you feel more comfortable discussing this recent problem of yours
Next Steps
since you are drinking ORS, intelligent move there. moreover the intensity of loose stools decide the level of nutrition loss too. ORS is an immediate replacement, going onto 4 days with just ORS is not good in the long run. Consult me or any doctor for that matter and we will look into this with more history sharing, lifestyle and I can offer a more personalized advice.
