Hba1c 6.9 what is this
Hi I got my blood test done yesterday my report says hba1c as 6.9 wherein glucose postprandial is within range and us 124 it is very confusing please let me know whether I am diabetic or no as I have no history of any blood sugar neither in me or my family and I don't eat too much of sweets or chocolates n all please suggest what us thus report is this report correct or wrong

HBA1C more than 6.5 is the criteria for diagnosis of diabetes....so you are diabetic...you should consult a physician...and initially you should try to control your sugar with lifestyle modification...like diet.. exercise and weight control, Before starting anti diabetes medication
