Gap in teeth
I have gap in front 2 teeth. I want treatment about it. But I am in USA currently. I will come for vacations for about one month in December and that is why I can not have braces as they to be fixed every month. Is there any treatment which will be over in 15 days?

Hi, I understand for your age of 23 ,gap in the front tooth would be bothering you. In my opinion, For your age what you should be thinking of is not to finish the treatment quickly, it's better to think how long or how permanent is your results of the treatment gona last. There are of course multiple options available to address your issue. As a young patient, it's better to go for options which are less invasive, and best would be to correct it without grinding your tooth. I know from USA if you opt for braces u can't come for monthly check ups. Search for options like clear Aligners/ invisilgn, discuss all treatment options with your dentists and take a wise decision. Don't be particular only about the timing. Take care

(1)Invisilines : it's a set of transparent appliance which will be built by your dentist. There would be set of 5 to 6 alineres which will be given to u at day one itself. U need to keep that appliance in your mouth till it become loose. Then use the next aliner . //Advantage: your tooth won't be cut. Natural results. no irritation like in braces//disadvantage: expensive than regular braces. The best advice will be given to u in a dental clinic. Ask for an orthodontist. (2) crowns/ verniers: it's a quick method to close your space between tooth (3) composite: it's the fastest method. But the problem is that u can't bit on any hard food else the composite filling will break.

You can go for composite or porcelain veneers. These procedures can be finished in 1 or 2 sittings. 2 seperate Composite filling will be done in your gap area. It is one sitting procedure. But there are precaution s which you need to take after the procedure that you should not bite on any hard substances. Not recommended for non vegetarians. In another procedure, dentist will do trimming of your teeth, will take impression and send it to dental lab. After few days, caps will be fixed on your prepared teeth which will cover your gaps. This procedure is most popular among youngsters.

Hi There are lot of options. But in case braces is the best possible treatment in your cases then probably you can get Invasalign done in which you can take your treatment to USA. You don't have to visit dentist every mont. You can search online for - Aligners or Invasalign and get the details. Apart from braces or braces related treatment you can even go for veneers or capping .

If gap is small between front 2 teeth, you can go for Diastema closure by Bonding Composites, this should finish in 1hr  -1.5hrs. Other option is Indirect Porcelain Veneer. The former is non invasive procedure, latter may require no or minimal tooth preparation. A highly finished and polished composite should look as natural as tooth.

Braces unfortunately take a long time. But there are other treatments which can close the gaps. Veneers is one of them. But a better treatment plan could be done only after a visit to the dentist
