Greetings for the Day!!!       Fruits consumption for diabetes patients can be beneficial when the quantity and form in which the fruit is taken is considered. Ideally 50 to 100gm of fruits per day is considered safe for a Diabetic person Instead of fruit juices, whole fruits with skin is more helpful to maintain the blood sugar levels. Fruits can be avoided immediately after taking a heavy meal. Instead it can be given as a snack. A customized diet plan will help to achieve glycemic control (balanced sugar levels).
Next Steps
Consult a qualified Nutritionist and get a customized diet plan that would help control the sugar levels.
Health Tips
If the sugars levels are very high, it is safe to restrict the intake of fruits for a few days and then restart the practice.
