Your immunity is low you can take immunity booster supplements and also lifestyle modification is needed.
Don't switch to much antibiotics it will lead to development of resistance to that antibiotics effects.
Frequent fever needs evaluation, not repeated antibiotics. Please record the temperature and get a clinical examination with CBC, urine testing and malaria/dengue tests as advised locally. Antibiotics should be used only when a bacterial infection is confirmed; changing them on your own can be harmful. Cold exposure itself does not cause recurrent infection.
Next Steps
Arrange an in-person evaluation soon. You may consult me on Practo or visit Synergy Multispeciality Hospital, Miraj.
Frequent, monthly fevers that seem to trigger with cold exposure and keep recurring despite switching antibiotics are usually not simple bacterial infections. Repeatedly taking different antibiotics without a verified laboratory diagnosis can suppress symptoms temporarily, disrupt normal immunity, and drive antimicrobial resistance.
This cyclical pattern frequently points toward recurring viral upper respiratory tract infections, chronic allergic rhinitis/sinusitis, or an underlying subclinical inflammatory or autoimmune process rather than fresh bacterial bouts.
Next Steps
Stop starting new antibiotics empirically every time your temperature rises and instead document your actual body temperature with an oral digital thermometer. You will need a basic fever panel—including a Complete Blood Count (CBC), ESR, CRP, and a Urine Routine test—to locate the true source of infection.
Please schedule a detailed online consultation with me. so, we can evaluate your complete medical history and pinpoint the exact cause before prescribing targeted medication.
Health Tips
Do not purchase over-the-counter antibiotics, as unnecessary usage can severely harm beneficial gut bacteria and fail to treat non-bacterial triggers. Cold weather or air conditioning alone cannot generate infectious pathogens; they merely irritate nasal mucosal membranes and provoke reactive inflammatory symptoms.
If you experience red-flag warning signs such as severe chills with rigors, unexplained weight loss, night sweats, or a stiff neck, seek an immediate physical hospital evaluation asap.
Frequent recurrent fever for several months needs evaluation rather than repeated courses of antibiotics. The fact that one antibiotic helps temporarily and another is needed later does not necessarily mean antibiotic resistance; the fever may be due to recurrent viral infections, a urinary/ respiratory infection, TB, malaria or another underlying cause, depending on the clinical setting. Exposure to cold itself does not usually cause a bacterial infection.
Next Steps
1. See any general physician or you can consult me while having fever for proper examination and investigations.
2. Depending on symptoms, tests may include CBC, urine examination, malaria testing and other targeted investigations.
3. Use adequate fluids and paracetamol for symptomatic relief if suitable.
4. Can you give me answer to the following points
"Do you have cough, cold, sore throat or breathing difficulty?"
"Any burning or pain while passing urine?"
"Any loose motion, vomiting or abdominal pain?"
"Any headache, body ache or joint pain?"
"Any skin rash or swelling of lymph nodes?"
"Have you lost weight or had night sweats
Health Tips
Avoid taking antibiotics without a prescription or changing antibiotics on your own. The correct antibiotic, if needed, depends on the suspected source and examination/ testing. Seek urgent care if there is very high/ persistent fever, breathing difficulty, confusion, severe weakness, dehydration or fainting.
